"Like a one man human centipede"

This Twitch streaming might really take off, I mean it's only been a day with the new PS4's out there streaming and already brought tons of entertainment.

Regen aura is a PS+ exclusive. Sorry, bruh.

Its the "doge" meme. It's a picture of a really surprised looking shiba inu. People then started posted things in broken english in comic sans around the dog's face to emulate his "thoughts". This eventually branched out into various pictures of shiba inus in different situations with similar comic san thought bubbles covering the image.

I guess you don't have power outages where you live either caused by nature or man? I've never had a hard drive or any other component of my pc fail when power has been killed.
He didn't have a hardware failure. He had an OS failure that prevented his PS4 from going into safe mode.. And yeah, I've had plenty of "oh your power went out? Let's do a quick drive scan.... Ooh look at all of those locked files, and here's a few unrecoverable ones to boot." I mean not always, but it happens. It's a chance which is why YOU don't just unplug the power cable for the hell of it.

Alright, here is the explanation of why this worked.

Something corrupted his system config files during a routine SYSTEM UPDATE. This bricked the config files to the point to where they would not even load into safe mode. Taking out the HDD and turning the system on caused the system BIOS to take over. Almost like a forced factory reset. When he put the HDD back in, the BIOS informed the system that it was defaulted and needed the original 1.0 / 1.5 update, thus reinstalling the entire thing. The fresh install erasing whatever corruption occured originally.

How does that sound? Sounds like that is the only thing that could of happened.

Yeah, that's what I thought when I saw it finally worked without the HDD.

After playing a brief game of NBA 2k14 I quit and inserted my battlefield 4 disk. The system prompted for an update, so while watching the progress bar (Around 20%) my controller light turned from blue to white. Hasn't worked since...

Get those extended warranties ready! and SCEA on speed dial!

**UPDATE**
Went thru a number of "fixes" with customer service and none of them worked. They are shipping me a box to get the unit serviced.
Safe Mode on the console no longer works.

**UPDATE** 2

For shits and giggles, swapped the hard drive for a fresh one, that also didn't work.

Hey OP, get that dick out of your mouth. #attentionfag #sadboys

That's awesome that he got it fixed. Did he seriously plug out his ps4 while it was updating or downloading something!? That's nuts!

He was downloading a game, it became unresponsive (not sure on the details), and he pulled plug. I don't know how long he waited, but I get the sense it wasnt very long
