Guy at work told me that he saw some people getting arrested this morning and police had them on the sidewalk along with about 30 Amazon boxes of exactly the same shape and size on the sidewalk.
Seems like crooks are going door to door stealing Amazon boxes that look like PS4s.

No where near as serious as a console but my camera from Amazon shows shipping now and is due to be here by 800. It is 215. Unless they helidrop it in I call BS.

This thread is a Roller coaster of success and distress. I will remain positive until mine shows up. But seriously with my luck I will be in the 0.04% FAIL rate.
People are in shipping limbo with No tracking #s, getting the run around from Amazon; bricked Ps4's < that has to be the worse problem. I feel for those who have waited patiently only to get a console that doesn't work.
Others are having fun on their PS4s and I am still waiting for UPS

At this point I'm more bummed that its not coming today than anything. Its just crazy to me that I was told I wasn't getting one because they sold out. I ordered this thing the second it was available because you GUARANTEED me launch day delivery.

Dear friend,
The UPS routes don't actually start until about 6-7am.
"Out for delivery" means it's scanned and placed on the truck that will be making the delivery.
Be patient.
This needs to happen for me, lol.

Mine has been out for delivery since 1:41 AM. That's not a big deal though, I will be getting it today. They will probably come around 4 PM eastern like they usually do.

UPS likes to do this thing where they run past my house and deliver all of my neighbors packages and then LEAVE and come back here 5 hours later or more when it's late at night to deliver whatever I had ordered. -_- Such a fuckin tease

I doubt it'd make a lick of difference unless your HDMI cable is really fucking old.

So no problem with HDMI port, it booted up without issue and I just downloaded and installed the the 1.5 update and everything is cool.
To confirm, it went from Destination Scan to Delivered?
My gf called them and yelled at them about it. She hung up on them before the poor rep could even offer a credit of sorts. I feel bad for the rep, but they tell me now that the order is processing & that I have not yet been charged for the PS4 - though $400 is missing from my account. They followed up by telling me that it will ship today for delivery today, which is impossible.
Whoever responded to you just gave you a shitty boilerplate excuse without fully understanding the situation; you should definitely push back, both to force them to do something for you (especially since they put consoles up last night for new order) and for the trickle down effect of hopefully getting whatever in their fulfillment system fucked up addressed so this doesn't keep happening.
Edit: just saw the most recent post. $15 is pretty crap.
I'm going to email there customer service and give them a respectable mouthful. They haven't lost my business, but this is ridiculous and $15 of credit does not even begin to make up for the fact that they have literally no idea where my unit is.

Amazon rep said system is updating late. my order says shipping soon buts its 232 already. he said he would give me 20% of it didnt show. thats for the cam but if it was a console that would be a nice savings lol
My PS4 arrived via UPS, but my Camera that I ordered a week or so ago did not - has been stuck on 'Shipping Now' since yesterday. Contacted Amazon and they offered me a free month of Prime as compensation, still not entirely sure where it is but didn't feel like arguing for credit or anything like that. Ah well, at least the important piece arrived in good condition. Updating now!

I pushed for Saturday delivery and they said it wasn't possible.
He told me he'd send it to the shipping department and that they'd contact me.

My camera and PS4 are on 2 separate shipments. Camera says out for delivery by 3 PM. PS4 says Destination Scan from yesterday. Hoping both get delivered at once.

I just went and picked up my backup PS4 at Gamestop at 9am. My Amazon one still hasn't come, and won't be here till 8pm probably. Anyways, I decided to give my Amazon PS4 to my cousin who's going through chemotherapy. His family doesn't really have money, and he's an avid gamer. I'm going to go by his place tonight and 100% surprise him. Can't wait.

UPS is usually pretty bad about updating their tracking info, this happens for us a lot.

I'm not going to request money from them. If they want to keep me as a customer and do the right thing, they'll make it right. If they don't, they'll get me a console by tomorrow, I'll take the $10 they offered me unsolicited, and not pre-order anything important from them ever again.
If they don't get me a console by tomorrow...then I'll think about it. I'll be pretty mad if they've told me they can get me one through Saturday delivery and then they fail to do so.
