And then, my hopes for playable Waluigi were diminished into oblivion.
This stage is freakin' beautiful, nonetheless.
Won't be surprised to see Rosalina make a Smash debut due to 3D World and whatnot.

I think it will getting worse when we are getting close to release date.

Anyway, I decided to count how many posts for Super Smash Bros Brawl Hype phrase, (not including those tournament threads and hacks)

Brawl - 96761 POSTS!

I just counted for Wii U and 3DS thread posts so far so we are getting over 78,031 posts so far.

Please mark 3d world spoilers as 3d world spoilers because you just spoiled the secret character for me.

Watermarkless version of the first image. No idea if/when the second image will get one.

Xenoblade - there are many area that we could choose from, so I will leave it to Sakurai to decide which location is better for us
Eryth Sea is the only place I can think of that has floating platforms, and is pretty damn good-looking. That said, Gaur Plains/Bionis' Knee is much more iconic.

I wouldn't mind a DKC minecart level in either version, big trope of DKC games and more unique than another jungle setting.

I though it would be way unique to have a stage that is dark and the parrot with the lantern follows each character around giving you a limited light source/view of the stage. Of course it would ever have a shot at the competitive level but who cares! I think it'd be awesome and require you to kind of memorize the stage layout

That could be such an awesome stage, but unfortunately it probably won't ever happen. :(

The galaxy stage looks nice. It'd be neat if it's constantly rotating and you have to keep up with it.

If they do add Shulk, there could be many options stage wise! I think I'd like a Gaur Plains stage, or perhaps that floating tower place.

Sonic's was removed at roughly the same time interval--I wouldn't read too much into it. It might be now that it just remains for a week by default.
I'm not, really. Sakurai is all over the place now. But there's some people here that have an eye for predictions.

After recent Link Between Worlds information, I'm hoping for proper Ganon i.e. Blue Pig Mode.
It's not likely because
Pig Ganon is not as big as Ridley and he's STILL too big!
Ganondorf is his human form that has better fighting prowess. Pig Ganon could replace his Twilight Princess Ganon as his Final Smash, though.

I doubt we're getting Zelda next week, we JUST got a new character. Plus, Zelda doesn't come out in Japan till December and Sakurai posts things in regards to Japanese release date.

Sonic was revealed six days after Toon Link. There really isn't any rhyme or reason to the reveal schedule.

Plus, Zelda doesn't come out in Japan till December and Sakurai posts things in regards to Japanese release date.
The 21st is the Japanese anniversary of both A Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time, and Peach was revealed on the Japanese anniversary of Super Mario Bros.

I'm just playing devil's advocate, mind you. I'm not expecting a reveal next week, but it is possible.

I wouldn't mind pig Ganon at all, as a matter of fact I prefer him over any other possible Zelda newcomer. I don't think he needs to replace Ganondorf either.

I'd really just rather they give some of Pig Ganon's moves to Ganondorf proper. TP/OoT Ganondorf wielding a trident would be pretty damn cool.

Fifth Zelda rep needs to be Tingle. Accept no substitutes.
Except maybe Skull Kid.

but pig ganon is his FS
also the best incarnation of pig ganon, he's a fucking BOAR

Forgot to mention, but I am so happy thatvthe Galaxy stage appeared! :]

speaking of your avatar and obsession with that game, I also have this avatar in celebration of something

Hey! KI is my favorite fighting game, plus I love fighting games. Its no obsession, its love!

Tsk tsk on that avatar. ;3

what would skull kid even do besides be a plot device
He could use a bunch of stuff associated with the Kokiri and other forest things from Zelda, since it's not like Link is using everything. Deku Nuts, Deku Sticks, the Fairy Slingshot, etc etc. He could also use the trumpet the Skull Kid in Twilight Princess uses, of course, and Majora's Mask could grant him some dark powers for a few of his normals and his Final Smash.

I think most of that's already been incorporated as items and Villager.

I'm kind of wondering how the controllable projectiles will be handled on Mario Galaxy, like Yoshi's Egg and PK Thunder. Also, I think someone brought it up already, but I think this gimmick is also being used by Windy Hill Zone. I think. The stage did look oddly rounded in the short few seconds it appeared in Sonic's trailer. At first I was thinking it was just shaped oddly to give the feel of a rounded world but not necessarily have it's own gravity, but this suggests otherwise, if they can do it with Mario Galaxy. Sakurai did also say they couldn't share everything about the stage when he showed it earlier in a pic of the day.

Also, the way Sakurai worded it in his Miiverse post makes me think the stage might be officially titled simply "Mario Galaxy." Just a hunch.

Regarding the potential for it to rotate, I think it seems likely just by the stage's sparseness and the really quite random positioning of the platforms (and their small size in relation to the rest of the stage). Though it's possible I'm reading too much into it. The gravity itself is probably enough of a gimmick, and Windy Hill Zone might fulfill the niche of a more complex gravity gimmick stage.

Why did they give it walkoff ledges when they could have made a full planet to orbit?
Because that would have been terrible. A goofy gimmick to try once but an absolute pain to have to regularly play on. Faster characters could run away feasibly forever, characters hit sideways would be put into orbit, and trying to control an inverted character (or worse, a character on the side of the planet) sounds incredibly annoying. If they plan on including these stages in a requisite single player mode I would hope they wouldn't make them completely awful. Cutting it off is the right decision.

I don't doubt it was considered at some point, but thinking about it, it's probably not a good idea. A neat concept on paper that would probably make for a shitty and frustrating (albeit unique) stage in practise.

Circular paths don't stop people from enjoying fan-favorite levels like Hyrule Temple.

I think there's a different level of ease of running away when you potentially don't even have to jump. But yes, that is true. The rest of my reasons I think are sound enough. In practice, I just don't think it would be fun.
