NA GAF - Post your PS4 shipment info!

I just sent amazon a follow up email to my customer service phone chat. I just wanted to let them know how disappointed I am with how everything turned out. And I stressed the inconvenience of getting my package tomorrow (while no one will be home) versus today when I was home all day and that I've been a loyal customer for years. I also let them know that I would have picked up a ps4 in a local store of I knew they were going to do me dirty. I'll see what they respond with (if anything)

The key is to just be very polite, but reiterate the issues. They will never be willing to bend and meet people halfway who are rude or take their anger out. Just by being polite you beat 80% of the other submissions they deal with on a daily basis, and that goes a long way to them being willing to work with you.
 
So apparently my delay was caused by Amazon exceeding there supply of stock with the orders, despite me pre-ordering on June 10th, it being designated as a launch edition, and it leaving the amazon facility on Nov. 14 at 1:30am ... they temporarily ran out of stock before shipping my order. That's apparently why it's delayed till Monday. Despite them assuring me it was to be delivered on Saturday.

I don't think Amazon was being honest here.
 
I haven't gotten it yet. The tracking says it will be delivered by the end of work day from UPS. I wonder if that means that I won't be getting mine tonight.

I really hope it still comes tonght but it's already 8pm.
 
So I finally got a survey from my earlier chat. They offered to call me so I did. The supervisor I talked to basically laid out what she knew and said that they've been told it was over shipped from that warehouse and they couldn't keep up. UPS has told them they'd be delivering until midnight but she didn't necessarily believe that was truthful. She also said they were told they would attempt to deliver some of them tomorrow but that ground typically isn't delivered on weekends so don't count on it. She said the best she can do as far as dealing with the shipment is add it to her queue and make sure it actually gets delivered by Monday. She then said she could offer me discounts or credits if I liked but honestly I just want what I pay for and if that can't happen I want to be informed instead of yanked around with false information. I talked to them last night and was assured it would be here, had they sent us emails saying we are sorry but its going to be delayed I would have been irritated but at least I could have got up this morning and tried waiting in line at Target. She was very nice and appologetic and at the very least I felt like she actually heard my point. I'm done complaining about the whole thing and I'll just be happy when I get it.

FFS please let this goddamn thing not be broken!

Yeah, that is honestly the worst aspect of this, I can handle them messing up, or UPS making a mistake, but everything we have heard supports the fact they knew this was an issue and failed to notify any of us in a timely manner. Which is just so far from the Amazon I have experienced, making this all the more bizarre.

Same. I have a shitty delivery location that isn't in a clear location for drivers. Guaranteed delivery by 8pm my ass. I hate ups. Wish it was FedEx. They always deliver on time here

I'm a re upset about it being shipped via ground. I pages for two day service and I know ground gets here in two from where they shipped but ground always has issues as its low priority. If it were actually ups 2 day, it would have been delivered already

Looks like you guys did in fact get boned by Amazon. My issue was definitely UPS. Time to kill things... other than in BF4, since I'd be eating breakfast by the time the patch downloaded. :-\

I think i got lucky. Had same estimates for here in NY. I got it at ~7PM EST.

Sadly Target failed me so I have to wait till tomorrow to get some actual games since I want to swap for KZ and NFScor atleast AC4. Its worse when you cant play an actual game and have the console to look at. (currently getting some F2P meh)

I think Amazon reeeally messed up on their estimation with the deliveries and did not cater well to the overwhelming amount of units that they had to ship.

They should've started mailing out PS4's on Tuesday at the earliest.

At worst, most people would've been receiving their units a day early, while everyone else would've received their delivery today with no mess ups.

I totally agree! I was completely polite. I just let them know I was just disappointed in their service as a loyal customer. I've never had issues with them before. The one time I order something I was soo excited about and it didn't come as promised just made me a sad panda and I wanted them know

The worst part is that they shipped the earliest pre-orders LAST.
 
I love how ups my choice says approximate delivery time: 10:15AM-2:15PM and its now 8:50 with no delivery or even an attempt. FML

Went on an emotional roller coaster from a super high on weds till this morning to completely deflated. This sucks. Time to go stuff my face with junk :( 1st world problems, lol

Not it's not proven.

But a good amount in here are preorders that were pretty much ordered right after the conference.

Really all we had to do was wait until tonight when the bundles would be back up. Pick out bundle and have it delivered on Monday.

Or you know go to one of their competitors because they don't know how to get stuff out to customers. Especially prime customers.
 
Just got off the phone with another person at Amazon and they said my order is late, but will arrive tomorrow. He said something along the lines of "due to shipping issues a lot of peoples shipments have been changed to Saturday shipping".

Hope this is true. Got a $15 credit... ha whatever.

So dude just flat out made that shit up... I called back and confirmed monday because it was shipped out ground.
 
In the same boat as the rest of the Florida people here. Three CSA reps and all I've been offered was $15 credit which I politely told them to keep. Best part is my roommate ordered his after I did (on the 10th) with FSSS and his showed up sometime this morning. I took the entire weekend off so I could have 6 straight days of uninterrupted play. I made sure the CSA's knew that as well but it didn't even phase them. I'm still at "Order Processed. Ready for UPS" on my tracking information. I really hope they don't pull this shit next Friday since Forza is really the one game I'm looking forward to the most.

Oh, roommate was only billed $108 total and got a free dual shock 4 from the whole misinformation fiasco from their CSA's. Fuck.
 
I ordered mine in June as we'll, however it seems to be issues with specific distribution centers. I don't buy that they and ups were overwhelmed, the whole point of pre orders is that they know how many they need to ship well in advance.

Wonder if the database got flipped and those who ordered first got put to bottom and vice versa. I also ordered day of E3 and I felt my packagd was almost missed due to it being stuck on "not shipped" until about 8pm at nigh Thursday night. Yet there was people who ordered in Aug and got theres a day early with shipping notifactions recieved on Wed.

That, and they've been limiting pre-orders. You haven't been able to get a launch day PS4 outside of a bundle for months.

I practiced a little food therapy myself. The half a cheessteak I had left over from dinner earlier this week helped some. It was delicious.

I don't think it's true. Ordered within minutes of it going up on June 10th, mine went out to UPS Thursday afternoon. I'd probably have it already if UPS' website didn't Jedi Mind trick me today.
