Still tiny, compared to any of the previous four console Ridge Racer games. Or the PSP games, for that matter. There is no progression, no single-player, essentially. You just race to earn points toward your own rank and your team's reputation. There are eight or nine tracks - that includes the DLC - each with a mirror version. Only three tracks in the standard game.

I'm waiting to see how USGAF like Killzone and AC4 - really disappointed to hear that Killzone is linear still, and I've been burned on AC before

Thanks for the heads up. It's a pity I would love so much a proper Ridge Racer on my Vita.
So i've been plugging away at VLR but wanted some fun pick up and play games in between.
Finally got around to playing Sine Mora I got via PS+ and I'm really digging it. The graphics are excellent, controls are tight, gameplay is fun. Even the story is... kind of nuts. Like a really dark version of Star Fox.

Yeah my bad, I was using date as a general term for the social link since he's barely gotten past the title screen so I didn't think he would know what I was talking about yet.

Yup they are really hard to reverse. You have to chose dialogues that would make you sound like a total jackass. So you can't mess up.
The the romancing features are for you to totally have a harem going.
It's not recommended to date every girl though. The game will make you feel really really bad if you do

I love how it has a 'recorded badly off-screen with a shaky camera' filter. Really advanced stuff!
It popped up as a suggested video when I watching another video.
As for PSM, you can still get the dev tools. I have them. Sony's even dropped the price to free.
Haha, oh wow, it's literally a video of a shaky handcam recording of a Vita screen. And people will fall for it too.
The worst part about that is how obvious it's a scam. You can tell it's using off screen footage, and technically a Vita emulator wouldn't use ISOs., they'd use ROMs.
$40 isn't exactly cheap given it's a budget release in other markets.

The thing is that you don't need 999 to understand VLR. All you need to know of 999 is in VLR. Of course, you SHOULD play 999 because is an incredible game on its own right. In fact, 999 spoiled my fun with VLR because...well, VLR isn't that good.
