Random question from a new Vita owner. I remember a little bit of controversy around when the Vita first came out around Everybody's Golf. Buying the PSN version didn't come with the online pass.
Was this ever corrected so it comes with it now? If not, is the online active enough to worth bothering with it?
I don't remember said controversy and I had the online pass redeemed prior to buying the digital version, but all digital games should come with any online pass. WipEout 2048 does, Unit 13 does, etc.

8 does get the benefit of having the best FF mini game of all time with Triple Triad.... maybe i should dl it on PSN and give it a whirl. it's been what, 10 years since i played it?
Apparently it's mentioned at the end. But, the more interesting part is the comments section of that article.
I decided when I started to count that it would actually be easier to count the number of times there was a comment that didn't mention the Vita. That count was 49 out of 115. The ratio was more like %80 Vita going into the 2nd and 3rd page but that's when the PS4 started cropping up. Which there were 25 mentions of out of 115.
In summary, out of 115 comments, there were 66 Vita mentions and 25 PS4 mentions. The number of post that mentions neither was roughly 30 or so. SquareEnix is in trouble on this one.
Losing or... forgetting? Lol, that was a pretty bad plot twist xD

BTW, I have a pretty a problem with Margarets Social Link. I need to fuse a Black Frost. My problem is that Black Frost was my main persona for quite long (no weakness, drains two elements, repel darkness) because it was pretty damn good. It's at level 61 and I want to fullfill the request but I don't want to lose my current Persona.
What can I do? If I don't save the new BlackFrost will I by able to keep my old one?

Where are mods in that US FFX HD post? They should do something, is sad that they seem to be hidden in the same dark room as the Vita versions.
Disagree with XIII, agree with X. Well, I don't know about the bar none, but X is pretty far down in my list because it was such a disappointment.
I think I still like it better than FF2 or FF5 though.
I put XIII above a lot of the other games in the series because I liked some of the characters, even if I wasn't into the story, and the battle system was a risk that I felt paid off. I put 120 hours into FFXIII and got the platinum and had a blast doing it. It's the first FF game where the "hunting" type quests actually captured my attention.

record/save your current black frost.
dismiss your current black frost.
fuse the new one.
get the quest completed.
dismiss the new one.
go back and buy your old black frost.
as long as you don't "record" the changes to the personas, they will remain the same as they were in the catalog. But if you change them at all, you have to save those changes to the catalog the next time you visit the blue room.
Pick up? It's a shmup. You fly from left to right and blow shit up... there's not a lot of variety in terms of core gameplay.
The story is interesting if you pay attention to it, you get different ships which have different normal/sub weapons, you navigate beautifully designed areas and kill giant bosses while avoiding bullet hell.
If you've played, say... through the end of Stage II B... and aren't feeling it, maybe it's not for you?

It's a very polarizing shmup because of the core gameplay mechanic and randomness to the powerup drops.
I love shmups and Sine Mora is my favorite in recent years. I just think the idea of the clock and being hit tied together make for a really cool mechanic that's fresh.
I'd say play a few stages, check out a few planes and subweapons, check some variety -- I think Stage II B is the one with the long train boss, which if it's going to click, it should be by then.
I didn't like the game and I don't think you will after your first impression wasn't good. It will probably only get worse when you hit a certain part of the game many people seem to hate.
I would play Gravity Rush until Friday, it has the right amount of playtime for the wait. You should consider the DLC is your first impression is good because it is embedded into the storyline and experienced best while playing through the campaign.
HEADS UP EU VITA GAF!
Stick it to the man's discount will end once the game is released, meaning it's only gonna be 8 Pounds/10 Euros for the next few days. Technically you can treat it as a pre-order discount since it's regular price will become 10 Pounds after the pre-order period ends.
So if you're interested in the game, go get it off the Store asap!
Even though none of us have played it, vote Tearaway in the VGX (formerly VGA) Best Handheld Game category 'cause the game could use all the buzz it can get. http://www.spike.com/vgx/best-handheld-game

Had my Vita for a couple days now and I'm loving it. Playing through Resistance which isn't terrible but isn't really anything special. Would love some more games but don't have the cash right now.
Soul Sacrifice is also surprisingly good. Lots of fun. Wish I had more games like it.

The truth. It's not that X is good (the story is terrible, characters are bland), but at least its gameplay is functional. VIII has the worst gameplay in the entire series; drawing is a textbook example of a feature that might sound good on paper but should have never made it past the first round of concept playtesting. Ugh. Doesn't help that a good 3/4 of the cast are incredibly annoying, either.

Does anyone knows if the PS Vita goes to sleepmode after it has back up all the files?
Im very scared by screen burn-in and I love my Vita (I lowered the brightness to the lowest).
My 64 GB is arriving tomorrow and I want to go to bed.
After 18 days, PlayAsia found it in their hearts to ship Muramasa. Freaking finally. Only reason I didn't cancel was the sale price it had when I bought it.
The visuals are serviceable at best but they haven't detracted from the experience for me as Im to absorbed with the music and charm. This is actually my first Lego game experience. Might have to get the home console version if i rebuy a PS3

? Seriously, you could go through 3/4 of the game just using that xD. Then you were fucked in the last bosses.
I liked FFVIII even if it has it's flaws. Combat was kinda broken, story was a little messy and the amnesia twist was... awkward. And about X, I think at least the story was easy to follow, even if it wasn't good at times (everything around
Seymour
was stupid, fighting
Yunalesca and going inside Sinh
was weird) I'm ok with it.
Still, I think the relationship between Tidus and Yuna was kinda... cool, the premise the game has was good and that whole thing about the world inside a dream could have been treated better. I have to agree with the fact that FFX-2 makes everything even more messy and adds quite some holes in the story but... whatever.

And... I've just finished the main arc in P4G:
Adachi is in jail, everyone is in a good shape and I've seen my beloved Chie wearing a kimono <3
. Right now it seems
Marie is in the TV world, but I can't go and rescue her yet.
Does that means I've done everything right to get the True Ending?
Vita came in the mail, I'm an official Vitabro now! This device is so gorgeous, oh man. PSN is Acid08 if anyone wants to add me! First order of business is to download all this PS+ stuff then get into P4G

Just finished my Oddworld HD playthrough on Hard. Really good game, with funny and moron characters. Eventho they were few places, which were annoying on hard I enjoyed my time playing.
Checking the trophy, seems like I missed just 3 or 4 trophies that are in the first part of the game, so I'll gladly jump in on easy and grab them really quick. It will be my first ever platinum. ^^
Then I'll be up to finishing off Sly Cooper 4, hopefully right in time for the next EU PS+ freebies. I'm kinda excited to fire up Liberty City Stories on both my PSP and Vita, to compere dat OLED.

No, I'm from Alicante. Most of my family is from Madrid though, I often go there in Christmas or some other holidays.

Not quite. You can still miss the True ending (Like I have ). On the last day, when you finish everything and the only thing left is to go home you need to keep choosing the options 'No', 'There's still something I must do' or something similar, can't quite recall. Just keep going places and choosing those options.
Ouch!
In my defense, I'm in the middle of my sheMC play through in P3P atm and hopefully they will announce Persona 5 this weekend (and, if that's the case, I really do hope at least one of the systems it will be on is the Vita), which will give me that morale boost to finish P3P and start P4G sooner.
Right now I feel like if I finish P4G (after P3P), there will be nothing THAT great to play after it. But if P5 is soon to come, I'll be like "shiiiiit, I have to finish P4G and hype myself even more for P5". Sounds stupid, but it's been too damn long already... so, come on Atlus! Give us Persona 5 (on the Vita)!

I have a nagging feeling that it's either that or another iteration of P3 for the Vita and the 3DS but there have been a lot of clues leading to P5 such as a website linked to P5 being reserved by Atlus. Crosses fingers.
I'll be seriously devastated if it's an Android or IOS game though.
