Well Geoff just confirmed that Reggie will be there at least. No word on an actual announcement but there'll definitely be something.

Edit: Adding link to time converter since people keep asking what time this is on at.

Edit 2: Confirmed to be a previously announced Wii U title by Nintendo of America.

Split bump.

Assuming he's showing something, I have to imagine it is at least marginally on target for Spike's audience, so I would guess something like Bayonetta 2 or perhaps, though not as likely, X.

Edit: As Mpl90 points out, Smash would be an excellent fit and perhaps the most likely option.

Smash Bros. would actually be something for the Spike audience as well, IMHO.

Pikman 4. 2017.

No, probably Bayo 2 and something new, Either Zelda or Metroid. It won't be F-Zero because that team at Sega is gone.

So Nintendo is going to appear at VGX. Guess they noticed that not making a E3 conference was a mistake and that Nintendo Direct alone is not really effective.

My guess is a release date for either Monolith Soft's "X" or Smash Bros. I'm hoping for a miracle and they give both. :P

This dude better bring the cot damn heat. Don't come out on stage talking about vitality sensor. Come out talking about blockbuster IP's youngin.

Seriously though, Smash or Kart would be okay.

Guess let's be reasonable here, they won't show X. It's going to be either Zelda, Smash, Bayo,Kart or all of them. If they'll show anything.

What makes you guys think they'll show anything at all?

Well, I guess Reggie could show up and be like "We're not like our competitors. While they're showing multiple games today, we're showing nothing.", but that would be kind of extraordinarily dumb.

I would hope Nintendo does something huge like show more Smash, X, or Bayonetta 2 footage..

I would also be excited with them randomly throwing a demo live on the system as soon as the event is over.. The Mario Kart / Donkey Kong ones I played at Best Buy would be perfect to just throw up on the eShop.

Advertising X on stuff like this would be a great way to get the game to break out of its niche so they'd never do that

Nintendo (and Aunoma) have been heavily hinting at Zelda U reveal before the end of the year. It would make sense to reveal it here because it is by far Nintendo's most popular hardcore-oriented franchise and lately the series has become very Western-focused.

If Nintendo really wants the "hardcore" crowd, Reggie would show a compilation of new footage from X, WiiU Smash Bros, Mario Kart 8, Bayonetta 2, and finish it off with short teaser for Zelda U.

Smash trailer with Snake returning. Or maybe a new IP from western studio (we've had those rumors but yeah it's not happening). Or maybe Zelda U (again very doubtful).

Time to show off that Zelda for Wii U. They said they were going to, but decided against it. I think its time. Link to the Past 2 is out now, so go for it.

I'm not sure Mario Kart really fits the Spike VGAs audience.

Wasn't last year's Nintendo E3 conference also the first one that was broadcast on Spike? Then they focused on Wii Fit, Nintendoland and an one year old port of Batman regardless. Not exactly what fits ,,their audience'' either (I guess you are talking about CoD fanbases and such? Though it didn't exactly fit any gamers' taste to be fair)

Well, I guess Reggie could show up and be like "We're not like our competitors. While they're showing multiple games today, we're showing nothing.", but that would be kind of extraordinarily dumb.

Iwata has had several TGS keynotes in the past even though Nintendo in general doesn't participate. Though I guess Reggie would have much less interesting things to say than Iwata :D
