If you want that, then you should join the IRC. Since there are now at least two re-streams, pan-hime will probably take over when the time gets close and people might be watching their own Nico Nico streams, I wouldn't say that's where most people will necessarily be.
IRC is the best place for PersonaGAF, yes. pan hime expressed interest in streaming the final hour, but I'm leaving mine up because I have a number of non-GAFfers watching it too.

What else could it be? I don't see them making this big of a deal out of this announcement if it isn't P5. Hashino even said that he feels that this will most likely please all fans.
Serious question: whenever a Japanese publisher hypes up an announcement and it turns out to be a goddamn mobile game, it pisses off us Western audience peeps, but does it also piss off Japanese gamers? Does 2ch or whatever get in a collective murderous rage just as much as NeoGAF?

Remote Play works over the internet, which, while not ideal, can still work for a non-twitch-based game like Persona. I'm not say it would be the best solution, but it would certainly be a functional one.
