why promote something thats sold out anyway? People would go "omg ps4" rush to the store just to find out they have to wait till 2014 to get one.

i have no dispatch estimate either. But not only for my ps4 but also for every single pre-order i have. The funniest part is that my amazon page says i received call of duty ps4 on june 1970 or something.

edit: oh doubled it :(

I'm expedited as well.

I *think* those who have first class are starting to move, so they have an estimated dispatch date, expedited doesn't get sent until the day before :(


It's worrying though, there are people on the Amazon Xbox thread who only got their consoles today.
 
iam not really freaking out over amazon. thx to prime its no problem even if they ship my console at 11pm it would automatically bump to ups express and i would get it early friday. I would actually prefer that, because the UPS guy normally comes earlier then the DHL guy.
 
Nothing from Amazon for me either - I ordered mine the day the pre-orders went up. Not expecting them to actually deliver on launch day since someone at work who was expecting their Xbone on launch day didn't get it either. You're really at the mercy of whichever courier services your location.

He got one with a Deathgrind[tm] drive, doubly disappointing.

No word on my launch Amazon PS4, but my lightning deal 3DS XL shipped this morning with a delivery estimate of Friday (along with the latest Cards Against Humanity expansion too).


There goes any plans of sleeping on Thursday night.
 
Still processing at ShopTo for me too. I'll start worrying properly once it gets to this time on Thursday and still hasn't dispatched.

Tesco also wouldn't send me AC4 Skull Edition as they said they have no stock, so they're giving me the standard version, DLC and a £10 refund. Not bad :)

Glad you're not worried, in the last year I have been screwed by prime more than a couple of times, notably when I ordered a tv and it arrived a day late at 10pm!

Mind you I ordered from Amazon and I expect to get the ps4 on Friday, its mostly small items that I seem to get screwed on, because Amazon seem to think 1st class counts as 'next day delivery'. Hopefully I win the courier lottery and they ship DPD
 
Wanted to buy a blue PS4 controller in Europe (Holland) from one of the biggest online shops here www.bol.com! But they want me to pay €99,99 for the blue controller. WTF?

Insane right?

Not enough. The few people that said they had them in the HDD speed thread I made never returned with times for games and stuff. Even then most of the times submitted were for initial load to the menu, not loading saves and stuff.

I'll be doing some tests myself with Knack, Resogun, Battlefield, Killzone, Contrast and the freebies. All with videos.

Ultimately, I had the money spare so figured why not. If it turns out that it was a waste I'll drop it in my PC which only has a 128GB SSD but I'm not that bothered.

After this launch i'm going back to midnight openings for any big console launch's

I really should of gone the store route for pre-ordering this instead of online .

Its just so much easier going in and picking it up instead of waiting for emails and everything to get updated.

I'm either being dense, stupid or both but I can't find the PS app on the AppStore :( all I get when searching for it is OPSM & other rubbish.

Found it, no thanks to Apple's crappy store search function.

All post normally comes through the business (it's my family's), but it's a pub that doesn't open until 12pm!
