PS4 official European waiting thread - come here and wait with us!

Well, my Assassin's Creed: Black Flag didn't arrive, even though it was 1 day delivery thing (Delivery estimate Tuesday 26 Nov 2013), this shit better not happen with my PS4, or mark my words, desks will be flipped (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻

(Happened with Ghosts with Amazons promised "get it on release day" thing, happened last year with Black Ops 2, too).
 
Finally got my ShopTo e-mail, now I can relax and look forward to Friday!

Hope everyone who's still waiting gets theirs soon! Keep the faith my brothers and sisters, Banderas watches over us all.

Why does everyone else (except maybe Norway?) get the KZ megabundle at launch and we have to wait for the 23th December? That's a fucking joke. Could have easily lived with a two week delay even though that was already shitty as hell. Instead of getting it before or around my birthday when I have enogh time to play I'll now get it around the holidays where I have no time at all.

It's not like Germany is one of the biggest videogame markets in the world. Oh wait, it is! The UK also gets a KZ+Fifa megabundle at launch and we don't even get our KZ megabundle in time.
 
AHHHHHHHH!!!! Two days time I will be getting ready to work the midnight launch. Cannot wait!! Day off on Sunday will be completely dedicated to my PS4. Will be a tough wait, I will squeeze some playtime in on Friday and Saturday

More than likely. The reason they are high is because a lot of the games are £10 off when you buy it with the console
 
My god its almost time!

Gonna pick mine up after work on friday, but my gf is forcing me to go see Hunger Games 2 in the cinema... will spend 3h with the console in a bag at my feet, how am I gonna survive:(

Also havent even started Last of Us. and still need to complete AC3 and GTA5.. smallest backlog on GAF and still feels like a huge mental weight.

Yeah I've got them in the waiting list, but they don't move into the main list of games they'll actually send to you until Thursday morning. Sent all my games I was renting back yesterday, just hoping they don't send me anything before Thursday when I can organise the list to put the PS4 titles at the top.

Called my local videogame to ask whether or not they will be having a midnight launch party but the answer was negative..come on friday !

Wait what, where did you hear that? Amazon.de says that it will arrive at latest before christmas, not on the 23th december.

If that's true I'm fucked and will not get my hands on the machine before 2014. ;_;
 
I've never been much of a multi player guy. I played maybe 10 hours worth of Halo 2 and then some more multi in 3 and 4. I enjoyed it at times but I never really learned any tactics. I just ran around. Call of Duty never captivated me.

Battlefield 4 has me hooked. I'm up to level 7 and I am doing decent even though I still need to learn the basics of competitive multiplayer tactics. I figured the frustrating bugs would run me off but I am loving it despite the crap. I find it hard but rewarding. I chose this as my free game from Amazon and it was one of the better gaming decisions I have made in the last few years.

I can relax now though, verkkokauppa says my order is in processing and they have reserved a console for my order from their stock.
 
So I finally got my PS4 last night, and well, US Gaffers weren't kidding when they say its very fast and responsive. Downloading from PSN was also very quick. Loving the DS4 sticks and D-pad as well! :-)

Had a little bit of scare during updating to 1.51 when the progress bar was stuck a little while on 67%, but it was smooth sailing from there.

Probably one of my best purchases of 2013. Paid a lot less than the normal AUD $549 so I'm very happy. That $10 PSN bucks also will come in handy!

For those still waiting in EU/AU, or just picking up PS4 instead of XBone, you will not be disappointed, I assure you!
 
It's worth mentioning again that anyone who hasn't pre-ordered may still be able to walk into GAME (or other stores presumably) and find they have stock 48 hours after release date. They were telling me today at my local store that they have to sell all their initial allocation if they want re-stock and will email / text people on the pre-order list. If those people don't pick up their order, it's fair game and goes on the store shelf.

Haven't got an email yet but my status is "complete" so I'm not worried. Yet.
 
I'm now debating whether to bother with the midnight launch or not. Late night shopping starts here on the same night as the midnight launch and typically it brings out a bunch of drunks and thugs each year too. Also means there will be no parking places anywhere near the actual store.
 
Gah waiting for this is making me itch! Focusing in lectures Friday and the train home will be hell. That and the inevitable game my Mum will play, acting like it hasn't arrived or just hiding it somewhere in the house

No worries... I ordered one item (Need for Speed PS4) and it was cancelled. Frustrating seeing everybody else getting theirs! Happy I could save you all a bit of money though :)

Exactly my feelings... First time actually that i am not satisfied with Amazon. Its a lesson for me - never cancel you original preorder until you absolutely sure to get a replacement in time... :/

I want to purchase Knack so I could play with my little nephew and AC IV for myself, now I see those games so close to me, and still... my wallet won't let me. :/
