I think port begging is usually banned when there is a big chance of an upcoming shitstorm... But I don't get what's the difference between Takao saying "no Vita lol" and people saying "yo, I want P5 on WiiU/X1 because I'm a jerk and I enjoy other people tears". Whatever... we'll miss you bro.
Tales of Xillia is pretty good and solid even if it has (imo) some broken boss battles... but is a big downgrade battle wise after Graces. I even preferred Tales of Vesperia, but that's because I found kinda messy how roles were done in Xillia (I'm not a fan of Magic Knights, and I don't especially like how healing artes were distributed, but that's 100% subjective and either way it didn't give any problems).
Read the paragraf adove. I think for 20$ Tales of Xillia is a must have.
I personally think Toto's negativity is good for the thread. The are some people here too optimistic (like myself xD) so it's good to have someone that keeps balance and gives different opinions. The only one that hates Toto is his wallet. I think he has bought and sold 2 or 3 Vitas.
Yes. I know that feeling. I like to look at a shelf and see the cases of my favorite games. That's the reason I've bought Tearaway and P4 at retail, and why I'll probably buy Gravity Rush too. I don't care about DD with games that I don't love (I liked Uncharted, but not that much for example, so I have the whole saga in digital).

Not played it myself but I've heard Xillia's story is somewhat better than Graces', so if you're sure you prioritize story and characters, that might be the one for you. I can definitely say that Graces has fantastic combat though. It might be the best combat in a JRPG I've ever played, honestly.

Story and Character wise, Xillia is miles better. Tales of Graces characters are awful, and the story is really cheesy and boring. And half of the game you have a really bad Naruto-Sasuke (Shippuden) kind of relationship pushing forward the plot. And the epilogue feels like a fanfic lol.
IMO it's not at SO4 level (ToGf a little high) but the only saving grace in the game is that it has the most awesome 3D battle system in the whole series... and Pascal, which is the only "good" character in the game... and it's the typical funny carefree character you see in anime.

Picked up Ys: Oath in Felghana this morning; wow, it's a lot of fun! Very fluid combat and reasonably difficult already. The VA is hilarious, but at this point it just feels charming.
No you don't. You need to download the game or at least add it to your account when it's free. Then after the month that it was free it'll still be available to you to play because it's on your account.
You can use the SEN website to add free games to your playstation account during the month they are free, even PS3 games. Which is useful if you're like me and don't own a PS3 yet. I've added tons of free PS3 games to my account so if I do eventually buy one I'll have stacks of games to play.
