The best part about Luigi only having an informed relationship in the spinoffs is that he gets to be a flirt in the mainline games.

Eh this is where I can argue that, because daisy could actually work in a main line game or a luigi game. Wario rides solo, and in his ware appearances even produced a replacement for waluigi in Jimmy T. Not saying they both aren't spin off characters, im just as far as incorporation goes, I could see daisy FAR be fore Dick Dastardly over there.
And as for you doubting, you know just as much as I do how how the presumably willy wonka-esque process of how stuff gets into Mario games . I dunno, sakurai could have just thought waluigi would fit. And just went with it, not every inclusion is a sonic or a wolf situation, but again that is an uncertainty.

Actually this is exactly the reason why they included Queen Bee to MK7. After all, Rosalina has been the only female character in the heavyweight class.

Why do people keep deriving this from rosalina? I'm not saying you are serious right now, my sarcasm meter is out of wack. But this seems to be a sentiment i keep hearing. She is a god, why the hell would someone limit her moveset like that. That is one of the most unimaginative things I ever heard. That is like saying the next FE character could only work as a marth, ike, or link clone because they have a sword and some armor.

He seemed to be basically representing the Mario Sports spin offs, specifically Tennis, where he debuted (he was even holding a racket). That could be a viable way to include him. He isn't really a Wario character, or a character from Mario platformers, but basically an original creator of the Mario sports spin offs. He could have a moveset referencing those various games and activities, something that would seem odd if done with Mario or some other character that actually appears in relevant games.

Clone as in same looks I would assume and If rosa were to be mirrored down the middle she looks almost exactly like peach lol.
I'm talking about their appearance.
1. They both have blonde hair
2. They both wear the same tiara
3. They both have blue eyes
4. They both wear long dresses
5. They have the same skin color
6. They both have a chest crystal thing
She's essentially Space Peach.
And yet they're day and night when it comes to their appearance, design and personality.
One could make the same case about Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent, its a silly one. Even so, more variety could be put into human mario designs I suppouse.
Well supposedly the mario girls have different features, daisy in particular. Being a bit stocky apparently. But yes they do look similar that I cannot deny. However as far as being a character goes, I like rosalina far more than peach. I also have a soft spot for cosmic powersets ( one of teh reasons I love shadow the hedgehog so much.), also I heard that the reason she so slow in the new Mario game is because she is the density of a planet or a star, and that is also why she is a large character in mario kart. But its just a rumor.
As apposed to what though? Another plumber, another knight, another kid, another neon colored anthropomorphic possible talking animal possibly from space? Man I would be pleased having another woman a a game, a powerful woman galactus level god. What she look like doesn't matter in this instance, its what she is about that is. And her character design is still distinct enough to differentiate her self from peach.
I would like to see a game with just rosalina in it, or just like marvel level super gods. There daily life has to be interesting.
So is Blood Falcon compared to Captain Falcon (and Wario to Mario before Brawl) and yet both were just costumes.
Don't be surprised if Rosalina ends up with a similar treatment.

F-zero has never really been that popular. And for wario , sakurai said that wario ware version is the one that stood out to him.

Who? Is exactly right, comparing a character that set is fanbases world on fire, and got special privileges that OG's in the franchise never got. To some bad guy in a c-list franchise is not the most apt comparison.

Nintendo has hundreds if not thousands of unique characters that could tapped before going with another Princess Toadstool or Mario clone.
Granted those characters might not be popular with fan fiction writers or people who complain about Sonic's eye colour.

The Rosalina fanboys are a resilient bunch, that's for sure. There's a zero percent chance she'll take priority over characters like Bowser Jr. and Waluigi, but I don't expect any Mario newcomers.

You are on the opposent end of the extreme of those people who complained about the marvel side of the roster when they only knew of the capcom side. You too deep in the trenches. Rosalina and Peach may look like , but clones? Nah. Along with that she, for lack of a better term, Shadow the hedgehog-ed the rest of the mario cast. She blew up, got them special privileges in Nintendo's most world renown franchise. Sure they could tapping into other characters. But Rosalina got a lot of rank over the wrecking crew guys.

Condemning Rosalina on her similar appearance alone is a bad reason. Might as well take out Luigi or Lucas with a reason like that.
Honestly, I think she'd be the best choice for a Mario newcomer given her recent playable appearances, popularity, and significance in the galaxy games. Also more female characters is a good thing as long as they're not picked on their gender alone.

Because stupidity bothers me. If they start adding insignificant characters like Rosalina over the likes of Little Mac, Ridley, and Mike Jones, then it's time to retire the series.

You can just stop playing/being interested in the series if it bothers you that much that characters you don't care for get in. There is no either or situation for characters, it's either the character is chosen to be put in, or they aren't.
Also, who is Mike Jones? Is he some obscure character in a game?

I don't think Mike Jones could work cause he's not visually distinct enough from a generic Mii.
He has a yo-yo, he'd just be another Ness clone.

No because I actually read comic books and know that they aren't super man and batman all the time and was comparing Clark Kent and Bruce wayne rather than batman and superman. Also I am actually paying attention to the conversation, so there is that.
