Just picked up my pre-order from Melbourne JB Hifi. There were 2 people in the line hoping to pick one up without a pre-order, but apparently they had no spares for walk-ins

However, XB1's are still available 1 week after launch.

No info on stock numbers though for each though.

Only anecdotal but at the Xbone launch at my local EB I asked if they expected the PS 4 launch to be much busier - they said no because they had less stock.

Yeah, I was wondering if this was the case. The store I bought from didn't have a midnight launch event for PS4, but did for XB1. MS has always seemed to put in more effort for the Australian market.

I wonder what Sony's overall Europe stock numbers will be.
