Browsing the PSN store and queueing up downloads from the Playstation app on my phone while a friend's using my PS4 to play Killzone multiplayer, the whole thing works very smoothly. I notice you can also use the app as a second screen - do any games make use of this yet?

Should be same as ps3. Create a US account and buy the game online. Once downloaded you should be able to access it under your main account. I haven't had to do it myself buy other threads had people who have apparently.

Log into your US account, buy the game and once you started the download, you should be able to switch back to your UK account and play the game. At least that's how it worked on PS3 and so far I haven't heard it changed. You really only need the US account to buy and download. Afterwards, you can simply start the game from your UK account.
