What's everyone doing first once the PS4 arrives? My plan at the moment:

- Swap HDDs with the 1TB in my PS3
- Connect everything to the TV etc
- Update PS4 firmware via USB (already prepared!)
- Pray it works
- Once it's restarted, put PS3 firmware on the USB and update the PS3 to use the 500GB
- Finally play some games

We have lift off!

UPS were supposed to deliver it at home to my partner who is waiting for them.

At 0700 i get a call saying they have to get my signature so even if my partner is at the delivery address that wont work.

So they say they will go to my work and have me sign it which is annoying since i have to carry it back home again, but ok since they need my signature.

they i get an email from reception that it has arrived and the front desk signed for it ... what the hell.

but its here now so all is well and that packaging!

Player Edition? Do all of the KZ/camera bundles have that on the packaging?

Somebody showed a picture of the box a few pages back and there was a sticker on the bottom.

You'd think it would be more efficient to deliver them to the next closest address, it would save a ton of petrol if anything

2 minute run is about 1/4 mile or about .4 kilometers. There can be a lot of houses in that area in a metro or suburban area. I am sure they make the most efficient routes possible.

LOL, your last thread was all dust in the wind! Where abouts did you pick up the PS4?

Tesco. Had to queue for 8 hours.

Wasn't going to get one, but I thought "hey...I could sell it for a profit, and that'll pay my credit card bill!"

As soon as I got it home and started playing the realisation hit me that 1. I had opened it and set the bloody thing up and 2. I could sell my 3DS and (unused for a year) Wii U for the same profit!

Aaaand so I sold the Wii U for £199. This morning, I find out my ex-employers have paid me £600 for no reason at all. Guessing it was holiday pay I was owed.

So basically, even after buying a PS4, I'm still £450 up. If I sell my 3DS (I will - I've played the games installed on it to death, and I have an OG 3DS still), then that's an extra £300. All in all, in just one night I've gained a PS4 and a month's rent - and I have enough now for two months in fact. On top of that, I have christmas money to come AND the profit from selling my spare car for £7k. So yeah, as long as I get a job before March, I'm fucking sorted.

God damn all you guys. Someone on the Amazon forums from Dundee has had theirs delivered and still no word on mine past being 360 miles away last night. DPD doesn't even have it listed as "in transit", it's still "at sortation facility" which means they still have to update it to "in transit", then "at local depot" then "out for delivery".

AH yes, good idea about puttind the 500gb in the PS3... ofc! =) Other than that that's exactly what I did =) Although I initially grabbed the 300mb PS4UPDATE.PUB by mistake instead of the 800mb one which obviously didn't work that well... Had me worried for a little while

I offered to pick it up myself "because I'm driving nearby the depot layer", and they told me they "can't do that".

They have my PS4 and they're refusing to give it to me.
