I thought it was kind of funny when it came out that reviewers were comparing it sometimes unfavorably to console games, when it's really the first time we've gotten anything approaching that quality on a handheld.

so i decided to snag this at gamestop instead and....pretty dang impressive so far. but i kinda hope you get to ditch the partner at some point. I hate when I'm exploring and dude is over there reminding me a million times about the objective or when I breathe air and he's all "wow man you're the best at breathing air."

Not really, because this is a really good game. Way better than the review(scores) imply at least.
