I enjoyed the series a lot despite its moe overload, the battles are really good and tense.
But this looks like it will be an action game. I was really hoping for a strategy game with this one. It could be Vita's own Advance Wars.
Toothpaste was a no go for me, tried it twice and the scratch is still noticable

Giving it free to a PS+ owner who might not have played it will, if said owner has a PS3, probably squash any interest in them buying the Vita version whenever it finally comes to light and releases (we've seen no screens/footage as of yet, right? could be vaporware... :lol)

You shouldn't, honestly.
It's probably not going to be GOTY edition (though the free PS+ isn't either), it's going to run worse or have limitations, so unless you really want to take it with you everywhere (I don't, personally and have a hard time imagining anyone who would want that), it's kind of pointless to get the Vita version whenever it comes out (2015?).
This really is a case of "late port nobody will care about", I think.

I still laugh at Sony for actually giving money to Gearbox to outsource a late port to an average title.

The game was good, when it came out. If you like the type of thing it does, that is.
Since we've seen zero footage or media regarding it, it might not be far along. If that's the case, it's conceivable that the game could be almost 2 years old by the time it launches on Vita. I'm not sure what market it's supposed to be catering to here...
Well I leave my vita in a cupboard with my PS3 and Xbox controllers to charge, I've recently discovered that I have a mouse problem and I believe the mysterious scratches on my screen have come from the mouse running over it while I'm asleep.

Capacitive ones work fine.
They do, been using this one for about a year now. Bought it for VLR, works great on other VNs as well.
I also use it for the initial screen peel when waking my Vita from sleep mode and as a result haven't touched the screen since they came out with the update that allows button controls for navigation.

Yeah it is. I've been trying to hold myself back in playing it since It's taking my Persona time. I'd likely play it on commutes in short bursts.
Sony should have just funded a vita port of Borderlands 3 to come out on the same time as the console ones.

I still haven't been able to activate the year of PS+ I bought 10 hours ago. They took the redeem code function offline earlier today.
I feel bad for any Europeans who just got a PS4 and are having to deal with this.
I've never played borderlands 2. I don't get a lot of free time when I'm at home due to normal family stuff so I never got round to playing it, even though it was on the radar.
I get heaps more time to play my vita because I fly a lot with work so I was really looking forward to borderlands 2 on the vita.
As mentioned before; it does dampen my enthusiasm somewhat (knowing that I'll get the game free for ps3) and definitely makes me less likely to buy it when it finally releases on vita... And I was a shoe-in.

Well there are 2 things that will make me buy Borderlands 2 on the Vita.
1. Include all DLCs and some exclusive stuff for the Vita.
2. Adhoc.
