No more boring than your face, Heapy-kun.

Persona 4 Golden will last you longer and the visual novel/everyday life stuff is great but the dungeons sure are boring.

Rayman is an amazing sequel to an amazing game, and you can't go wrong with (arguably) the best version of the game now that the patch is out.

Both are good choices. P4G has been on sale a whole lot lately, however. But Rayman will probably be on sale just as much. lol

Is P4G a good "podcast game?"

Speaking of ps+ subscriptions ending... Mine automatically renewed itself today and it happened on the day my mortgage and a whole bunch of other bills go out.

That's an awkward conversation with a wife who doesn't understand the merits of playstation plus... Or playstation anything, for that matter :)

All evidence points to not anytime soon. They probably really don't need to since the original set was and still is just to get new users on board while they can just add a couple of games a month to keep existing users happy.

Which is total bullshit, because it's patterned after the PS3 IGC. I'm too lazy to look to see if they ever actually said they'd refresh yearly, but the assumption was that 2-3 of the titles would be "evergreen" just like 2-4 of the PS3 titles.

Technically, they could just swap one of them out for another game instead of the normal 3 that rotate... and we wouldn't gain anything. But the hope was always that it would be like the E3 exchange of year's past where it's a month that has a ton of extra content for PS+.

Life lesson #766: Never keep a credit card on file.
Life lesson #1291: Auto-renew is for chumps.
Life lesson #3454: Even if you can't find a discount on PS+ through outside channels, using Amazon for PSN credit and PS+ subs through an Amazon Visa will net you tons of rewards while adhering to lessons 766 and 1291.

(That sucks.)

Vita GAF, I have a simple question:

I have $22 in my PSN wallet. Persona 4 Golden or Rayman Legends?

Do you want to play a platformer or a JRPG. The choice is as simple as that.

Otherwise, P4G has been on sale countless times and you'd do better with a physical copy unless you have a 32/64gb card. The game is 3.1gb and will take up space on your card for a long time. Rayman Legends is around 1gb, I think. The flash sale that (was/is) up is the lowest price I've seen it for anywhere, for any system. I have a feeling this is like the time EDF was $14.99. (EDF has not been since.)

With all that in mind, remember that the Murfy levels on Vita are different than every platform, save Wii U. This means that a chunk of the content in game is doing gimmicky things with touch/tilt/etc. Another poster said something about it in here recently and I was tempted to quote him and point out that for the Vita version to be the best (alongside Wii U, I guess), it would have to have the option to select how to play Murfy levels patched in.

Anyway... again -- Rayman is less likely to be on sale again when the flash sale is over. P4G would probably be better for most VIta owners as a physical retail card.

So yeah, there you have it.

Persona 4 Golden is the only way to do it right (:

WRONG-O. :P

Yes, for the dungeon parts. There's no dialogue or important story bits (aside from mid-boss and boss encounters).

Almost every encounter does have the potential to kill your entire party if you're careless, but once you get a feel for the mechanics you'll be able to go on autopilot and listen to podcasts or even watch TV in the background.

There's even an "auto" option to let your party just whale on the enemy with physical attacks until you win.

Alright VitaGAF, Stick it to the man is releasing on Vita today and tomorrow, ya'all better get this if you like Adventure games or Saturday Morning Cartoon craziness.

This is generally only works on the early parts of the game and if you're way ahead though. Suicide or very time/effort inefficient otherwise.

Excited for Stick it to the Man. Looks awesome.

With the Terraria snafu, I think I'll be grabbing it as well.
Hope it's good.

Teeeempting! Its normal price was disgusting.

Depends on what you compare it to.
$15 for Spelunky is more than fair given the incredible amount of playtime you can get out of it.
I have it on PC and PS3/Vita and I've probably sunk over 40 hours into it. My PC playtime alone is at 12 hours and I just got it the week we got the patch for Vita.

Terraria's crossbuy correct? I plan on getting it later tonight if Grace Chen ends up updating the store early.

I'd appreciate it, if you guys getting Stick it to the man can also post in the OT, it needs some more activity ^^;

Wrong. EU blog said Terraria is NOT cross-buy.

And it's not listed as coming out in the US this week.

Which means the US holiday sale week 1 is only PS3 Terraria for $3.75.
And who knows when we'll see Vita Terraria... probably in 2014.

I bought spelunky at launch, still haven't touched it

Good on you for supporting it. But you're really doing yourself a disservice by not playing it.

Christamsl Deal #2 EU Spelunky Vita for 6.99 € (was 14.99 €)

good deal, too bad I'm not into platformers at all :(

AW YEAH! Was hoping for that, defintely going to double dip on this, need my portable spelunky fix. Sony must be reading this thread, I begged for it yesterday :p

shame on you, it's one of the best indie games ever made!

edit: not on sale yet at least

Eff dat ish!

Funnily enough I spent $300 during the previous October offer, and for this current offer I spent like $15 only =P Unless my shop gets Ys today I'll prob. get it from the Store before the 3rd of December ends.

Man, remote play runs ten times better with the ps4 now.

I'm all the way across my house and I just got a Resogun silver trophy in my bed. My Vita will never let me sleep again.

$15 is okay! I'd be cool with $15. Problem is it wasn't even close to that price in PAL regions. :( Worked out at about $21 US.
