A lot more in depth. I'm having a ton of more fun in the first few hours than I ever have in terraria.
Although you're wayyyy too weak early on.
What song can you play? I picked up a reed organ and can only play Canon in D so far. Wasn't sure if each instrument initially gave you a specific song or not.
Also found a king glitch in his own castle and he attacked me on sight. So I killed him and took his crown. Hail to the glitch king!
Found out you can walk in a circle around the planet but it's a very long walk, obviously depending on the planet size, etc.
some noob questions
after the 1st time you drop from your ship, if you go in 1 direction all the way will you ever reach your spawn point again?
after building a crafting table, can i put them back in my inventory?
is there any way to quickly loot items? or drag and dropping each item is the only way? this is kinda annoying
Can fit a surprising amount of stuff in your ship.
Damn fun, this game.
I just got done raiding an Apex Moon base full of mad scientists. I'm still debating whether or not I should raze the building, those steel blocks are damn tempting.
Yeah, you'll loop around.
Yeah, just hit it with your pick (manipulator probably works too).
Shift-click to quickly move stuff. Shift-right-click to split stacks.
Does anyone know what this giant pod-like thing is? I've encountered it 3 times now. The first time interacting with it set me on fire after it exploded, the second time it sort of folded itself into space and vanished, and the third time it killed me instantly (lost over 1000 pixels FFFFFFFFFF!)

Found this while exploring my world and ended up getting killed by the occupants in the cell block.
Damnit. It if was just a random buff I should have just left it alone. I was hoping there was something unique about those pods, like a chance to gain a tech or something. Fuckkkk! Lol.
So, I see a large number of items have a decent pixel value on them. Can I like, sell them anywhere?

I came across an anchor leading up to the sky once. Followed it up and there was a ship full of Avians. Bought some bombs from them...so I have explored left and right and down and around... but i just realized i haven't explored up.... is there anything of interest in the sky at all?
This makes sense. I unfortunately never found a place to sell anything. As far as I know the numbers on the items aren't related to selling at all, the number is strictly related to how much it would cost if you made a copy with the 3d printer. (only items that have a value that isn't 0 can be copied with the printer)
mods?!so playing around on the official forums I am reading how people already have mods for larger ships (and even space stations) that work for online play.
Have the developers said one way or another if they plan to have steamworks support?
mods?!
and its only in beta jesus
I don't believe I can agree with either thing you are trying to say here. While yes it is a beta and there are bugs, they still needed to get the game to a state where they felt comfortable letting the public play around with it to help find bugs. Currently it's getting a ton of praise as a solid game even though it's in beta, that good press will help them a ton. When you get negative press about something, even with a beta, it's really hard to shake it, and given how much build up the game had already they couldn't afford a bad beta. Had they released it earlier this year in a poor state, they could have potentially killed the momentum the game had hype wise. After playing for a bit all I can say is that Beta really needed to be released early this year.
With the community working with the devs for finding bugs and help improve the gameplay I'm pretty sure this game will have a "short" beta period
shame i have to go to bed so I can work tomorrow.
