I know that Dynasty Warriors: Next has gimmicky touch crap for the special moves, but how annoying is it? I really want a mindless hack-n-slash on PS Vita, and Namco Bandai failed me by not bringing over One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 (and even if they did it'd probably have been digital only :| )

So I guess I'll just get that if people think it's worth it. Or are there any upcoming ones that might be localized? Isn't there another Dynasty Warriors (or one of the games like it) on PS3/PS4/Vita coming out in Japan? Think that'll come over? Tecmo Koei has been pretty good with Vita so far.

You can try the DWNext demo, it features all the touch stuff. I didn't think it was crap at all, I thought it added some fun variety to a pretty mindless and repetitive game.

Dynasty Warriors 8 is the most recent game.

My (almost) 5 year old son is playing Tearaway for the first time.
'Is that my finger, dad?'. He smiles every time he sees himself in the sun.

With the next scheduled PSN maintenance we will now be able to register up to three portables (Vita and PSP) under the same account. Nice.

My Persona 4 completion time is 137 hours. I think that's the longest game time I've ever clocked. I did a lot of exploration, grinding, and Persona fusing. I still haven't completed all of the sidequests!
The bold part: I can never bring myself to bother doing such thing in games, bar a few exceptions (I love exploring the world of Demon's Souls, for example).

I think the only game I clocked more than 100 hours in a single playthrough was Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. I hope I enjoy Soul Sacrifice enough to do the same! :D

Hey New VITABros,

make sure you open your full download list on the Store and page through it.

I just found that I have Valhalla Knights, Tekken 2, and Wild Arms to play on my VITA!

FlyinJ, listen to Tizoc over here. I was in the same boat as you, getting disgusted by greasy the Vita made me seem. Outside of using screen cleaner, I could never get the thing to look crystal clear.

Until I bought a pack of these. Not only do I feel safer knowing I can't nick my screen to hell and back, but it also solves the grease magnet "feature" of the Vita. And for $1.99, how could you possibly go wrong?!

I considered that, but all the screen protectors I've seen on other devices dull the image and look terrible in general. That's not that case with these?

Nope, the image is completely unhampered by these. I'm also a stickler for these types of things, so rest easy.

And should my opinion be horribly wrong and you hate the screen protector, what's $2 in the end?

Hey guys, about spelunky, am i the only one thinking that:
-levels are not 100% random but based on what you have? Sometimes it trolls you, for example the only time i took no money in the first level the second level was a black market level...
-levels are not randomized to meet the expectations of the gallery man?(he wants a shotgun but only in some play i can get one)
-the third world is incredibly easier than the second? I lost millions of times before arriving to the third world, but the second time i reached the third world i passed it reaching the forth world...

Agreed, I've played various PSX games and others that have colorful graphics and the protector hasn't dulled their visual presentation at all.

Yeah the game trolls you hard, but I'm convinced that it's totally random. The 2nd world is IMO the hardest out of the 4. I would say 4 is harder but usually by that time you have good supplies/items and are able to deal with it easier.

Getting a shotgun can be somewhat forced.
If you can spawn an "undead" level in the 2nd world you will always find a shotgun underneath the "ASH" gravestone.

And of course you can always take on a shopkeeper too.

Is Boxing Day a thing in Japan or Hong Kong? If so I would try to order a 64GB card around that time.

Sales rarely happen in this country. Even more so if its with something thats fairly new.

"Wagon sales" on the other hand for games are semi common though at times.

Ones best chance to hope for anything would be the new years sale. Though dont keep your hopes up.

All this talk about people getting 64 GB cards is making me jealous. I ended up purchasing a 32 GB card when the prices were dropped in the US, which I upgraded from 16 GB.

I'm not sure I can rationalize getting the larger card at this time.

I want to upgrade from my 32 to 64, but at the same time theres not much reason in my mind considering most of the games are from ps+ and will disappear eventually... Ill buy a new card once my 32 fills or is mostly filled with games i actually own... Till then its just buying more empty space imo.

Ill get a 64 or 128 one day im sure but by the time i truely need it the prices will have come down.

First trailer for the Noire spinoff.

The trailer doesn't show too much though, but look at the amazing skills of the(perverted)moe snake(nsfw)

I have never thought of his shotgun lol! I have never fought the shopkeeper, i guess i'll try.

I'm reading some news from last year that says none of the PSOne classic versions of Crash Bandicoot work on the Vita, but only in North America?

Is that still the case?

So I recently bought a second Vita - I wasted literally a full year of PS+ because my Vita stayed attached to my JP PSN full time for PSO2. (To add insult to injury, I had apparently neglected to turn off PS+ autorenewals and I was renewed for a year at full price two days before Black Friday.) I also picked up a starter kit on clearance from a local Best Buy. Because the second Vita is a launch 3G model, it apparently comes with an 8 GB memory card, and the starter kit had a 4 GB memory card in it. I managed to sell them both on Amazon Marketplace in less than a day (for $14.99 and $5.99 before shipping, respectively). Nice little holiday fund bump for spending money I probably shouldn't have.

Is there any way I can use the 30 day trial PS+ card I got with my new PS3 to tack another month onto my current one year sub I got with my Vita without having to put credit card info in?

So I had a launch VITA on my PSN account I also have a PS3 currently on it and I ordered a VITA today will it let me add my new VITA to my PSN account?

It was free on PS+ here.

I never really utilize free PS+ Vita games even though I redeem them to put in my DL history. 90% of the time I own it already, the rest of the time I intend on buying the physical version, or it's a PSP game nobody wants. I don't like games being tied to an expiration date, in case I'm ever down and out and have to let my subscription lapse for a long time.

When I still had a PS3, I played through Double Dragon Neon, when I got PS+, but the free games started piling up so much that I wasn't even playing any of them... it just ended up combining with my Steam & Vita backlog.

At least I get discounts out of PS+... pretty sure I've recouped my money a few times over.

64 GB memory cards going for 92.99 after coupon and free shipping, plus a $10 coupon for you next purchase. The coupon is NEWTWITTER3 and takes $3 off the purchase. Gonna try and sell my 32 GB card for $40 after getting this.

I'd go with Nippon Yasan over Yes-Asia. I ordered from Yes-Asia, and the card never showed up. I opened a dispute through PayPal to get a refund, and they emailed me and said they'd only issue a refund if I closed my dispute. I still got my money back, but yeah -- go with the tracked FedEx package from Nippon Yasan. It's a bit more expensive, but the service is better.

It must be awesome to play this game as a child. There is so much magic and charm in this game. Imo is best Media Molecule game to date.

The moment when Snake appears in the box reminded me this video.

Saw this tweet yesterday when I was trying to find System3's twitter account:

So I'm almost certain that the Vita version of Putty Squad I ordered off ebay on 11/28 doesn't exist, and the seller "shipped" me an imaginary item to avoid negative feedback, which is just going to overcomplicate the refund process... supposed to arrive 12/5 to 12/10, so ebay will probably make me wait until 12/13 to open a claim, which will likely take a week or two.

Lame. Only reason I ordered the ebay one was for ease of use, and I was only sure it was coming out because the date for all versions on amazon.co.uk didn't change all the way up until 11/29 (release day) when they all simultaneously became "temporarily out of stock"

Uh oh. I did the free shipping without tracking. Am I screwed or was your issue not common?

Just ordered a second Vita since they're on special here.

Gonna be using it for a Japanese PSN ID to stuff around with the demos they have available.

The guy behind that company / game is a known liar and con-man living off a game that was big nearly 20 years ago. Don't expect much.

So I just got a good as new second hand Vita was a 16GB card. It was supposed to come with killzone but the dude that sold it already used the code on his account so I basically got screwed. So now I have a Vita with no games (except for cross buy Flower)... But hey, at least I have an OLED Vita.

I'm now kind of wonder which game to buy. The digital games on the European store are kind of expensieve.

if you have 2 vitas you can link both to the same account and download all the games on your account to the second vita
