Holy cow, there are a mass of games that have not been localized in the west.

God Eater 2
Gundam Breaker
Ciel no Surge
Orochi 2 Ultimate
Can't read this but involves giant robots in an SRPG - I assume it's Super Robot Wars
Exstetra (also on 3DS, also not localized)
Neptunia Re;Birth 1
Criminal Girls Invitation
Madoka Magica The Battle Pentagram
Tales of Innocence R
Little Battlers eXperience W
Dynasty Warriors? 7 with Treasure Box

To name some of the notable ones. There are also a lot of visual novels. Some of these have no hope of localization, but man :/ hope we get at least some of these. I know we'll get God Eater 2 eventually.

I am pretty sure that at least 3 of them will be releasing next year,

We should all just learn Japanese. There's no way we'll get to see most of those otherwise.

Well, I suppose at least God Eater and Dynasty Warriors will be released. Probably Neptunia too, but I couldn't care less about that franchise. I've already lost hope in Tales of and about Exstetra, who knows. There was other game with a similar vibe (also 3DS/VIta multiplatform, it's called Conception 2) that got a localization announcement from Atlus USA a few weeks ago. I don't remember the name.

And, even that Curry God game is going to be released xD

Do they release any games with English subtitles? I'd consider imports if I could understand what was going on in story heavy games.

I don't think a story heavy game with lots of dialogs will have english subtitles. I'd love if that happened, but it's unlikely.

Conception 2

Edited: Thanks :)

Yeah, I must admit they're bringing over a lot more games lately that I thought would never be localized. Which is great and I hope they'll do well enough to warrant future localization efforts.

But surely you have a 3DS? I mean your Icon is Phoenix Wright.

You can play PW on iOS though.

Don't forget Wii Ware.

I chose a Vita over a 3DS because PS+ bribed me, I loved my PSP, and I really wanted to play Uncharted/Gravity Rush.

You have no idea how much it hurts me that I can't play Dual Destines. I have played through the Original Trilogy at least twice ;_;

I want to import a Vita 2000 from Japan and have a couple of questions for those that went there.

Where to import in the safest and cheapest ? (ebay... any asian importing store ... ?)

Is it easy to configure once i get the system ? i mean language and all that... ?

I have asked Dr. Google, the only thing i can find is an article from playstation.blog stating that its coming out this fall.

At least you asked Dr. Google... unlike some of the other posters and their questions. :)

Speaking of VLR. Has the iOS port of 999 been released in the states yet? I want to play it before moving onto VLR. I had started VLR but then I decided after about an hour I wanted to play 999 first.

Play it on the DS mang

Or... y'know, skip it.

Pretty sure it's the same as any other Vita.

No chance I'm beating Spelunky any time soon but I've been playing more Rayman Legends and it's really fun but there doesn't seem to be all that many normal levels due to so many of them being the touchscreen ones...which aren't quite the same. And there are hardly any bright and colourful stages or anything so far? Unlocked every world except Living Dead Party but only got 142 teensies so far...is it darker themed levels overall?

The normal levels that are there tend to be really fun and I'm definitely going to be replaying the origin redone stages too but it feels like I'm blasting through all the sights already whereas with origins it took me like...months!

Finally got a Vita guys. PSN: Maedhros_

A 3G/Wifi one, with Lego Batman, 8GB and a pouch.

I want to ask a few things:

- Where can I get the better PSN plus deal so far? (1 year) A online code would be essentiall. Same for PSN card.
- What's the best grip I can get? PDP or Nyko? And where can I get it with international shipping?
- I want a better memory card. Where can I get a cheap 16GB or 32GB card??

For now, that's it.

I thought you already had one. And you messed a lot of great deals on black friday, like PS+ for a year for 30 bucks.

The previous owner (my brother) was finishing a game for the trophy... ¬¬

So I couldn't get ANY of the deals as he wasn't sure if he would sell me the Vita or not. =/

I don't have a DS mang

999 iOS IIIRC is gimped to the max.

no puzzles, only VN.

I can see that might be appealing to some, but it takes out all the fun. Get a DS and play 999 on it like the way it was intended.

Gamestop might have some major sales the end of this week (e.g a used vita around the $120ish range)

Go pick up a used DS or 3DS for 999. It's totally worth it. But don't get VLR on the 3DS because it will make you throw yours out the window.

Is the Yesasia price for the 64gb a sale or the normal price? I'd like to get one but if it's the normal price I'll wait til I have more money to throw around.

Would help if you actually posted what the price was eh?

*Edit In Japan it costs around 85-90 USD give or take a little to give you an idea of what the base is.

Got a year of PS+ for the usual price... oh well, it was my priority. I'll play the games it offers first. After that I'll look for the other things I want to get.

I have a EU PS+ one month trial code that expires on the 31st. You DO need cc details to use the code though. PM me if you want it :)

I asked a couple pages back but no one answered...Has anyone played sweet fuse? Or should I not bother

I'm getting my shiny new 32GB memory card tomorrow, so I'm backing my 16GB card up tonight. I have 15GB used. The backup utility is over half way done after less than 15 minutes, and there are 12 minutes left.

Did they speed this up or something? I kept reading horror stories about it taking hours and hours. Or does it just take longer when restoring? I did use USB instead of wifi though.

I imported a Japanese vita a year ago and they're dead easy to set up - just select English initially.

The only thing to look out for is the fact that more often than not, you'll be pressing circle (not x) on menu screens...

I'm used to it now but initially, I was backing out if menus that I wanted to action on and getting confused!

Cause if you spend $60 on PSN you get $10 back

Yeah, as said already, that ended last Tuesday. :)

You dislike Ace Attorney therefore I disagree with your face

Oh, it's like that now, eh?
Simply put, I played VLR with a passing knowledge of some of the general plot of 999 and enjoyed it. I caught a large part of the references and figured out a lot of stuff long before I should have.
So as far as I'm concerned buying a new handheld to play a single game before playing one you may already own is silly. It's even sillier to go play the iOS version if the puzzles are removed. Just go watch a let's play and be done with it.

Maybe. Last time I tried to back up, it took forever.
Out of curiousity, how much of the 15gb is software and how much of it is media?
I'm going to go tell it to back up my 64gb card now and see what it says the estimated time is.

Soul sacrifice and oddworld I think are still up

http://www.reddit.com/r/playstationplus/

looks like we'll be getting Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed and Urban Trial Freestyle this month

When are you they going to be free?! It's December, isn't it?
j/k

It was all software. I stopped putting other media on it b/c as you already know, the 16GB card is just too damn small. I was not looking forward to this backup at all but I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly it finished.

I hope it goes that quickly with the restore tomorrow.

Oh, by the way AussieVitaGaf:

The Megapack sold out fairly quickly. Only the Killzone bundle is still available.

Underwhelmed by Uncharted on the Vita. Earning weird trading cards, tutorials constantly popping up about motion/touch things. Not feeling it. Hotline Miami is perfect on there, though. Playing a ton of that, even though I've already played it a lot on PC. Katamari is Katamari and Wipeout is Wipeout. Good stuff. Haven't tried my other games yet.
