What fighting games do you currently play, what are your all time favourites and why?
Currently I only dabble in SSF4AE and by dabble I mean get obliterated by Kadey. I also have Skullgirls on the side and I am waiting for a price drop on Injustice to start that up. Before that I used to play UMVC3 a lot until I sold my console.
My all time favorite games include the Tekken series and the VS series. I was pretty into Tekken until Tekken 4 hit which disappointed me and I looked for other fighting games after which I learned of the VS series. I still came back for Tekken 5 but once I got a taste of dat Marvel crack it was just too much. If I had to choose my one single fighting game it would be TTT1. At the time the game was the ultimate fan service to Tekken fans and nothing quite like that was done in 3D games. I was vastly impressed by the graphics and the roster size plus great additions like a universal low parry system and tag mechanics. It was a PS2 system seller for me.

My favorite mechanic in a recent fighter has to be custom assists in Skullgirls. It works really well and I hope all team based fighting games adopt it in the future.
My least favorite mechanic are TACs which I have explained in great detail many times in the past. I enjoy resets a lot and TACs marginalize them greatly.
What got you into fighting games? Are there any other genre of games you play?My least favorite mechanic are TACs which I have explained in great detail many times in the past. I enjoy resets a lot and TACs marginalize them greatly.
I went to the arcades as a kid and saw SF2:WW being played. The game looked good, had interesting characters and lots of people were playing it. Since then I have dabbled in just about every major fighting game series except for the anime games even though I have nothing against anime, I enjoy watching some anime.
I play just about every game genre there is. My favorite is the 3D action adventure genre of which I am a big fan of the DMC series. Currently I am playing DOTA 2 and Path of Exile on the side.
What is your favorite fighting game character and why?I play just about every game genre there is. My favorite is the 3D action adventure genre of which I am a big fan of the DMC series. Currently I am playing DOTA 2 and Path of Exile on the side.
My favorite fighting game character is definitely Yoshimitsu from Tekken, more specifically the Tekken 3 design. He was my first character and even though I stopped maining him a long time ago he still holds a special spot.
While not designed specifically for a fighting game, Vergil is my favorite character to be in a fighting game followed closely by Iron Man and Dante.
Describe your style of play, and how do you play (local, online, etc.).While not designed specifically for a fighting game, Vergil is my favorite character to be in a fighting game followed closely by Iron Man and Dante.
My playstyle is more defensive and reactionary. I don't like taking big risks or doing YOLO plays. I may do it out of lulz or when the connection is bad or to throw off my opponent but that is not my default state. I also don't go for swag, I just keep things dry as possible.
I mostly play locally with some online play. I generally don't like online play because of lag.
What do you feel are your biggest strengths and weaknesses as a player?I mostly play locally with some online play. I generally don't like online play because of lag.
My strength in a fighting game is keeping things simple in dire situations and being patient/defensive. Of course this applies to games that I actually know how to play; mostly Tekken and VS games.
My biggest weakness by far is execution. I have terrible execution and I generally avoid long/optimized combos if I can. I also have bad defense in 2D games, especially VS games; MVC2 spoiled me with AA assists.
Best and worst moments in the your fighting game career? My biggest weakness by far is execution. I have terrible execution and I generally avoid long/optimized combos if I can. I also have bad defense in 2D games, especially VS games; MVC2 spoiled me with AA assists.
Best moment is definitely when I won my runback money match in TTT1. Better moment than placing at any tournament. Close second would be Vergil announced for UMVC3.
Worst moment was probably losing that MM initially but it was the wake up call I needed to get better.
What do you want from future fighting gamesWorst moment was probably losing that MM initially but it was the wake up call I needed to get better.
I want more team based fighters, I want more Dojo like modes, good netcodes, training modes that come with frame data/hit-box viewer and I want fighters to release with more than 20 characters.
