Nah the team is fundamentally a different team minus Trish. I like green aces teams a lot because it has the potential to be another team that shuts down bullshit like Chris and Champs teams does.
UltraDavid does say a lot of uhs and ums in regularly or at least that's what I remember when watching UltraChen TV.
Trish/Dante/Strider or Dante/Trish/Strider is batshit insanity mode although it relies more on being relentless with pressure versus opening people up constantly with high/low unblockable setups. Ask Frantic.

Inside info from my boy who went to NEC. The 5th character is male, confirmed by Combofiend himself. The character is currently broken because his frame data hasn't been balanced yet, and Combo is working on the character every day.

Super. I'm glad vortex is gone, but I just don't think her tools are all that great. All I really want is faster walking speed like Akuma's or something. I want 3rd Strike speed, not SF4 Ryu speed with worse footsies.
I don't think she got anything worthwhile so far, so I'm hoping things will change. It's a shame since Ibuki doesn't really have that much of a special style besides some SJC styling/resets, so I might not use her in this version. Might just stick with Gen.

I think the Baroque system was interesting, but holy hell Mega Crash has to be the worst burst mechanic I have ever seen in my life. Yeah let's make it so you can burst with two bars and then combo off the burst (and if you're Zero, you even get a ton of damage from it). Why did 8ing think that was a good idea?
And at a major in a hotel where the showers didn't have hot water, no less.

Kind of bored of all of the FGC documentaries we've gotten. When I think it was HBTB started (but never continued?) doing short features on arcades, I thought that was much more refreshing and interesting.
Yeah TvC is good, but yeah stuff like Mega Crash makes it bullshit mechanically.
I wish stuff like giants had been tweaked or incorporated somehow into future fighting games, definitely thought that was a cool idea. PTX also should've made it into MvC3. but I guess by then more people had realized how far from the initial pitch that series had fallen.
This GIF needs to extend all the way until FChamp walks by waving the money.
