I wouldn't mind knowing every character right now. This kinda game I don't mind being spoiled by stuff like that.
I wouldn't mind it but I remember when Melee came out and I saw on the characters for the first time when I unlocked them which was amazing. If they don't get revealed/spoiled before it releases I hope someone makes a spoiler-free unlock guide as soon as possible.

I don't think Nintendo would want something like Smash Bros overshadowing 3d World. We haven't gotten any new details about Mario Kart 8 either, even though it's officially confirmed for spring. I guess we'll get another big Nintendo Direct in either January or February with a lot of new info about those two, even if Smash is later in the year.
I feel that we'll get at least 2 more newcomers before release, with a few teases/hints maybe to encourage speculation.
As a person who plays many a fighting game, not only do I not care if they are online. I hope he spoils all of them, and they are available from the start.
Anyways here is some Brawl related stupidity I participated in though the lull of valuable brawl information,, that I would like to share.

Honestly, I still prefer it over the artstyle of SSBM and SSB. It also, while making the characters look somewhat washed out, made the stages look better than they normally would be.
Though, SSB4, both 3DS and Wii U, are going to knock the others out of the park. More so than the transition from SSBM to SSBB.

Yeah it was something I've noticed ever since Smash Bros 4's reveal. Looking back at Brawl, the lack of color is really jarring. Hated that it even affected most of the stages too... wasn't a fan of Green Hill's desaturated palette. That whole "let's make Smash Bros serious and epic!" direction was weird.
Brawl may have higher resolution textures and slightly more polygon count, some better lightning, but honestly I think Melee looks much better personally. Artstyle wise, how everything is colorful and meshes well with one another, especially on Sheik's face. In Brawl it's ugly.

Primary colors are boring. Just light up Brawl a bit and then upgrade from there.

This was immediately noticeable if you were playing Brawl on an HDTV right when it came out. Super grainy screen plus a weird 'realistic' palette makes the screen look really muddy. While the levels were still nice and bright, SSE also had that same really dull coloring which helped in making that mode far more boring than it had any right being.

Um exCUSE me Sakurai but CLEARLY the best choice for Smash Bros would be my fav niche character HOWEVER you are clearly INCOMPETENT and
I don't think everyone will have unique dizzy animations, but Little Mac should turn pink and be short of breath after having his shield broken.

Well, wouldn't it help to remember the time period Brawl came out in? If I remember correctly, it seemed that Brawl came out when the Wii needed another killer app badly since Galaxy was the year before and MKWii wasn't out yet. Plus, with the Wii, people wanted to see how Nintendo could recreate their franchises in the same "realistic" graphics that 360 and PS3 users were already accustomed to for some time, I was one of them and realize what an uh-oh that is. Games like Twilight Princess showed that people were stoked about the new art styles, so it seems Sakurai followed suit.
Personally, I'm so happy with the new games' art styles, I've realized that part of "Nintendo magic" to me is having bright colour palletes =) I never got into Galaxy 1, but loved Galaxy 2 to death probably because of that
Challenger Approaching!! forever! It better come back, it's literally the best feeling in the world.
Can I get a " do you play fighting games" Options and I can just have everyone, because all I do is just look up how to get everything and unlock it as quick as possible.

Melee was the one that introduced real denim Mario though. Brawl just gave his clothes more mass and darkened the overalls a bit.
