So happy I held off buying Doki Doki Universe. The limited edition isn't even on the Vita store?

Edit: buy Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Injustice and Tearaway.

Vita kittens please go(or just open PS store) and buy Ys: Memories of Celceta.

it's so good.

I didn't played much but graphically I expected better.

anyone know how long it take to beat the game? I really don't have much time to play long games this week if it's 20+ hours I'll just keep it for next week.

Say VitaGAF, I want to ask: is there any game that you really regret spending money on?

Thomas Was Alone and DOA5+ are my answer.... Man, I really regret purchasing them.

I really liked Thomas :(

For me

Dragon's Crown. I knew the art was ugly I didn't realize the combat and loot were so shallow and boring.

Retro city rampage. It's like an 80s lover pooped into a game cart.

Spelunky - just not fun for me.

I regretted buying ass creed and cod. I consider both of them decent games, but definitely not worth the full price I paid upon release.

Man, the AI in Murphy Levels (not Murphy challenges, the normal levels where you are forced to use murphy) is really bad. I was in the level when your character is a duck, and you have to use murphy to open a path through some cakes. I almost ragequit in one of those stages when you go to save a King/Queen Teensie.

I didn't buy a tablet, I don't want forced touch controls T.T

The rest of the levels are awesome, especially the music ones

Yeah, the former I feel you, it's ok but the charm wears off and the game left is a bit crap.

I love Spelunky though, it's a brutal bitch of a game but it's got it's teeth into me.

Luckily i didn't buy it but i agree with Thomas Was Alone, not that i was expecting too much honestly.

I bought Army Corps Of Hell and while i was disappointed i didn't regret it because i would have bought it anyway sooner or later because it looked promising, too bad it totally lacked contents and variety...

I regret Need For Speed, but it was my fault, i was hoping for Burnout Paradise 2 :(

I almost regret BlazBlue, i enjoyed the visual novel part, i can't say the same for the fighting part and in general i didn't like the character design.

I don't remember if i bought it but Super Crate Box was totally not worth, after unlocking all the weapons i have never touched it again.

I guess there are others but now i don't remember.

This is sad. I'm sad. I think the art is great. It's mechanics were also great for what genre it is. I don't think similar games is for you.

Me too. I freaking love the art, it's so incredibly overblown and fantastic. It's like a Vietnam vet who loved Tolkein stopped over in Japan during the 70's and then came home and painted the side of his van while stoned and blasting Black Sabbath after seeing Heavy Metal in theaters.

Plus the combat is fast and fluid and who doesn't love loot?

Assassins Creed Liberation is the first that comes to mind. I spent £40 on that piece of shit. It's definitely the only retail game I regret spending money on. There's a couple small games I got in sales such as A-men for example that I ended up not liking much but I wouldn't say I really regret it that much since I got it so cheap.

So guys about voting for Vita GotY 2013
Anyone wanna step up and do the tallying? Basically the lists would be sent to someone and they tally up the results, there's a way to make the tallying more accurate.

We have to wait for Aytrial me thinks.

Probably Lone Survivor and to a lesser extent Gravity Rush.

The former just doesnt do anything for me, initially I liked the art styles but i found the gameplay lacking and havent gone back to it in a couple of months.

The latter I never enjoyed and sold shortly after purchase (along with my vita). However I have yet to give it another go through PS+, but it's in my backlog, so maybe i'll find my original opinion to be incorrect.

Thanks for the replay.

I can get 10 hours this week to play so I'll focus on it.

You're welcome.

Do keep in mind that these were impressions from others, not knowing wether they were rushing the game or wether it normally takes longer for others. I hope it works out for you :)

Probably Stealth Bastard and Dragon's Crown, though significantly more the former. For some reason neither really clicked with me, though maybe I need to try playing Dragon's Crown with friends.

Does deleting games usually take a long time? I deleted a 1.2 GB game last night and I thought I would have to hard power cycle the Vita to get out of it ("Please Wait..."). It took an exorbitant amount of time, probably around 5 minutes.

DC's style is too much for some people, nothing sad about that. It's a good thing.

The only one would be Earth Defense Force.

I mean, after a long series of loading times, it takes minutes sometimes just walking slowly toward the bugs to be able to start doing shit. And then you feel scared of having to do it all over again, because there isn't a decent checkpoint system in place - if you die on the last bug, you go back to before the loading.
So you end up playing in normal, at least to get armour and better weapons. And it's kinda boring. Oh, and alone, because no one's playing online; at least none I can connect to (maybe because of the difficulty? Or the lower levels?).

It is just boring, and DEFINITELY not as pick-up-and-play as I was expecting.

How is that a good thing? Maybe you just don't like it too? I agree with that it may be too much for some people but really think about it. With all the violence in games where people get shot and explode, I just don't understand what a little skin here and there is the problem.

I think this is a problem that's just not related to games.

haha, I'm with you. My point was more that DC's style should not be palatable for everyone. It's intended to not be.

Hey guys,

Where would be the best place to import Project diva f from?

I hope to do it after Christmas.

CDJapan has it for $35, which is probably the cheapest you'll be able to find it. I've used them before and they're pretty solid. Amiami and Nippon-yasan are also good. But yeah, I wouldn't recommend Play-Asia.

Try check Amiami. At least they are more reliable than PlayAsia...
I've never had any reliability issues with Play-Asia, they are as fast as you could expect cross continent shipping to be and the only time they've failed me is when Ouendan 2 was on sale and they didn't have enough stock to honor my purchase. Other than that, since I've been their customer from 2005 or 2006 onwards, I've had no problems with them.

Just picked up Velocity Ultra and Wipeout 2048 (probably should of waited for a sale of this)! In other news my Dragon's Crown order should be here today, yay! :D

Little Big Planet Vita - My first LBP so I should've researched more before buying. Really can't the stand the floaty platforming. Ruined the game for me.

Sly Cooper - I like 3D platformers but the game really feels like it was made with a young audience in mind. Too easy and pretty banal humor.

This and Ragnarok Odyssey for me. I usually don't care too much about graphics, but NFS runs at such a low resolution that I find the game difficult to get into. Ragnarok Odyssey requires way too much farming/grinding.

I still have yet to touch my copy of Tearaway because most of my gaming time recently has been spent on my PS4. I need to get on that over winter break.

Ragnarok Odyssey is based on Ragnarok Online so when I played it I knew that that there was a lot of grinding involved in the game. It's also a hunting game so I think that was a given.

Is the part where PS+ games on the NA Vita appear at the end of the month also applicable on the PS3 and PS4?

There's a difference between a lot of grinding and WAY TOO MUCH grinding. I've played quite a few MMOs and hunting games, and none of them have drop rates as low as those in RO.

Usually 1 PS+ game is added to the IGC per week. The first two weeks are PS3 games, and the second two are Vita games.

There's a difference between other MMOs and Ragnarok Online. It's that drop rates are abysmal in Ragnarok Online.Seriously there are 0.001% drop rates there. I've played Ragnarok Online for quite a bit. Actually I've played it my whole life even now so I can take the grinding. Of course this doesn't mean that Ragnarok Odyssey should be the same because it's largely an offline game. I think RO ACE fixed this though so for those wanting to buy Ragnarok Odyssey I suggest waiting for ACE.

Thanks for info on PS+.
