Yes to all of the above. I suggest transferring to PC because it works great as a back up memory card for me.

Thanks. Will I be able to transfer to PC without the use of the Vita's screen, or do I need to put it in 'PC mode' or something similar? Because the screen is totally blank :-(

My Vita screen has packed in so I am weighing up whether it would be better to get it repaired or just buy a new one... which wouldn't cost much more... but I need to know if I can transfer all my games/saves over to a new one?
If I put my memory card in a new Vita will everything be on there, or are some saves etc tied to the Vita?
I have PS+ so hope some of my saves will be in the cloud but worried that they're not all up to date.
Also wondering if I can hook my broken Vita to a PC and transfer all my stuff onto a new one that way?
Just really don't want to lose anything!
Any help/advice massively appreciated...

Edit: Ooh, top of page. Recommended - Hotline Miami, Sonic Racing Transformed (free on EU+), Dragon's Crown and of course P4G.

Saves are stored on the memory card, there are exceptions, but not many iirc. Another advice: Join the 100 posts per page club

OK thanks, that's somewhat relieving.
50 ppp is plenty for me, I thought it might be top of the page for everyone though due to the previous top-of-the-pager not making any recommendations.

Playing Spelunky, found a Jetpack in the Mines, entered the Black Market with enough money to buy all of their bomb boxes, got the Kapala, got the Hedjet, entered the Temple with 10 health, and then accidentally get the Scepter crushed by those eye-blocks as I kill Anubis.

I don't think I've ever been so angry at myself lol

Been playing Tearaway more and more lately. Not much to add that no-one else would already know... But it is magnificent. Gets better and better the more you play.

I really have the urge to play FFX... I seriously need it on my Vita now.

I'll add my 2 cents to the Terraria discussion. I was really looking for ward to it but I'm most likely gonna wait for a sale. The $15 price tag seems steep and the Ps3 version was just $3.75. Maybe $10 and cross buy but on it's own no way.

In terraria is there a limit to how many blocks of something you can carry? So far I'm just trying to find the cap of how much wood a slot can hold before it starts filling up a new space on the inventory...is there a limit?

Btw what's up with soul eaters chasing you constantly?

Exactly.

Given you're asking that question, I guess you've never played the original? It's great.

Does the original have the frustrating bugs where your bombs just phase through the targets? Cause that bs took Velocity Ultra down a few points in my book, especially after it went through 6-8 weeks of "certification" to be released in NA. :P

Don't think Dragons Crown is my cup of tea. Its no Muramasa Thats for sure.....

Go watch the videos I posted.
There's more action game "combos" than you probably think.

FF V looks so nice on my Vita screen. Never understood why some people call the game "unplayable" etc, because compared to FF VI and CT PS1 ports the loading doesn't make me angry. Translation's a bit meh, but it's Final Fantasy V! Hardly Shakespeare. After all, how does grammatical errors like Y-Burn make the game unplayable? Final Fantasy V on PS1 is better than no Final Fantasy V at all.

You getting Runner2?

I picked muramasa up over black friday and feel really bad because I've been looking forward to it since release, but after the tutorial I have no motivation to keep playing. Might still be burned out on dragon's crown. I can only handle one vanillaware game's worth of repetitiveness a year

I don't quite follow? action game combos? What i enjoyed about Muramasa was the music characters and setting. DC doesn't quite Do it for Me in these aspects. much preferred the 2D plane of 'masa too.

Damn, Ys Seven is rough around the edges. Ys Chronicles and Felghana were charming and good looking, but Seven just looks crud and unfinished, and what about fat Dogi and the moonwalking characters?

It's a good thing I'm in NA then
KuGsj.gif

It's already been on sale once over here too

I haven't played the PS3 version but I looked at some screenshots and it looks very similar to me? Another screen:

Sorry it was still pretty dark out.
Edit - Actually some PS3 screenshots have more trees in the background, haven't come across those yet...I'm playing the trial at the moment though.

I'm just curious here, but how could the Vita version produce different seeds with fewer trees if it's cross-play with the PS3 version? Wouldn't your world have to be the same on each? Otherwise your PS3 friend would be chopping down invisible trees on your screen lol

It's not "unplayable", but it's definitely the worst possible version of the game.

Best version of V (and VI) are arguably the GBA ports.

Ah I meant trees in the background not the ones you cut? Didn't know that's what seeds were for (duhh lol).

Also I saw the tree artwork and other background artwork in the larger level when I went exploring some more. Looks great, no worries! Using a different computer at the moment, harder to upload more shots but can later.

What's up with those day soul catcher things, they don't give up during the day time?

Okay, let's try to make a list:

- LEGO The Movie: The Game
- MLB 14: The Show
- LEGO The Hobbit
- Borderlands 2
- God of War HD Collection
- MXGP (Europe)
- PlayStation Vita Pets (Europe?)

Football Manager 2014

Does that really make sense to release at retail in 2014? That clearly should have launched this fall.

Thanks. Man, such a lackluster known list. I understand the lack of games from third parties but the output from Sony themselves is what is really disappointing.

Still waiting on my Vita 2000 and 64GB memory card. NCSX hasn't shipped the Vita yet and the memory card has supposedly shipped, but there's no tracking information on it.

Yeah. I don't understand why people call IV and V unplayable. They don't have the loading problems VI and Chrono Trigger have. The only real technical problem is the save bug and it doesn't happen every time. The worst part by far is the translation.

Gravity Rush 2. Also are we purely talking retail games? Because the indie support for Vita is looking really good for 2014.

Sorry, made the assumption that you were not feeling DC because the combat was more "shallow" than Muramasa. My bad.

Was the translation of V any better for the GBA "Advance" version?

I couldn't stomach more than 2 text boxes full of the "we ran Faris's dialogue through http://www.talklikeapirate.com/translator.html, cause, well, she's a PIRATE!".

I had played a couple hours of a fan translation via emulation back in college and while I wasn't in love with the job system, I had planned on playing it to the finish. However, my emulator kept screwing up my save file and I never got very far before I'd get frustrated about losing my save again and quit. I bought the collection on PSOne, cause, well, Final Fantasy VI plus the game I'd wanted to play but had all sorts of bad luck emulating. I didn't get far beyond the screen I put up there... I just couldn't imagine dealing with her talking like that for 40+ hours.

WESTERN developed. Gravity Rush 2 has got to be SCEJ, right? Just like the "sell an expansion as a new game" Soul Sacrifice Delta isn't western developed either (and absent from the list). Or Toukiden, etc.

WTH -- I went to check out Doki Doki and it's $15?! The trailer I watched said it was F2P. >_<
