Super Smash Bros Wii U and 3DS Thread 3: Ridley's Believe It or Not!

going with the avatarbetting one isn't great either because it has nothing to do with smash, really just go with something simple or a good pun.

Yeah, I mentioned that in chatroom. Few people insisted that I should post it along with other OT idea. I guess we can wait for few days to see if we can see if we can get something clever.

Were you missing the nights during the past month or something? Many interesting things were actually shown.

Yes I realize that is probably a joke and just an excuse to put that awesome spinner lol. :p

So many filler that I actualy lost the Toadstool Footstool Jump reveal a few months ago =P

I'm still kinda new to the internet/gaming forums but why do people care so much about sales?

Ignore those people. Take it from Platinum:

Buy the game and worry about the sales never. The fun you have will stay the same.

I get wanting to root for a winner, but the minute that crazy sales makes a game more fun is the minute that it becomes something worth worrying about as a gamer.

Y'know, we've had a fairly productive couple of weeks, in spite of appearances. Consider:

  • New Find Mii stage for the 3DS version.
  • New Steel Diver item
  • Skull Kid is an Assist Trophy.
  • New Animal Crossing stage for the 3DS version.
  • Some rebalancing information about Marth's moveset.
Oh, sure, we all want new characters, who wouldn't? But it's not like we've been getting nothing but images of caves off to the side of the stage, day after day.

Yup, yup. Can't complain with how December's gone so far. I just think it's been a while since we've gotten a character.

Don't bring logic into smash gaf! I agree with you though lol

Yeah, it's been alright. New characters are always more exciting, though. It's about time...!!!

Okay, yeah, but nothing ground-breaking, the likes of which even a good stage reveal can do. For the most part, it's upsetting to see one mediocre image after another because it doesn't say much.

I'm not holding my breath
Btw do we have a timeline between character reveals?

Here:
Game reveal (June 11) - Olimar (July 12): 31 days
Olimar (July 12) - Luigi (August 7): 26 days
Luigi (August 7) - Peach (September 12): 36 days
Peach (September 12) - Toon Link (September 26): 14 days
Toon Link (September 26) - Sonic (October 1): 5 days
Sonic (October 1) - Marth (November 7): 37 days

37 days is the longest we've gone between character reveals so far. Tonight, it'll be 36 days since Marth was revealed. If we don't get anything tonight, the earliest we can get anything is Monday, which is 39 days.

sakurai reveals when he feels like it, but also if he doesnt reveal tonight it will officially be the longest we go without a reveal.

Thanks!
the gap between Olimar>>Luigi and Sonic>>Marth is huge.

I still dont understand the photo a day idea. Just kills ALL surprise for the game before you get it.

Well I mean, its a fighting game, plus he is just revealing small stuff in the grand scheme of things, not revealing all the modes and all that stuff, and in terms of footage we probably only seen less then 10% of it overall
