Why isn't this GIF used more often? It's gold.

Oh, ok. Whynot.

Of course it is. Japan is moving towards handhelds/mobile

Combine that with arguably one of the best FFs and a very beloved FF title, it's a recipe for success.

Sony was smart to push SE to make a FFX vita port. In the end it will pay off for the both of them.

Of course, I shouldn't really look into this because it's just some danky ass Amazon sales chart, but I can help it by being very very happy.

toukiden in physical?

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00H45K6LW/?tag=neogaf0e-20

here i thought it was US amazon for a second...no physical :/

Toukiden needs an LE.

And a sequel developed from the ground up, no more ghetto PSP assets.

FFX Vita in the top 10 for amazon

soooo happy~

Hopefully Square find good results on Vita, it seems like the natural fit for their catalogue.

I finally GOT Lumines. Like, I've played it a few times but I finally really understand it. It's really awesome. I got my highest score by far of ~22,000, which I know isn't GOOD, but I just figured it out so I am looking forward into getting better.

Lumines is my favourite puzzle series, right back to the PSP original. The Electronic Symphony cart never leaves my Vita.

Kat originally had pink hair. hnnnngg

@suppadoopa: did you order the japanese Twin Pack? I managed to preorder it from Nippon Yassan. Can't wait for the 26th.

Nah. I can't be blowing off money on myself when Christmas is around the corner. I can wait til January. I'll order from Nippon Yassan this time. AmiAmi will probably be out of stock as usual and I have past qualms with ScamAsia.

I know that there is going to be a huge chance of the Twin Pack not being available anymore come January, but the more boxes the better ;)

I hope so. They seem to be finding good results on the 3DS with Curtain Call, DQM2, and Bravely Second coming. I hope they can find or at least achieve some success on the Vita with FFX.

Square supported the GBA, DS, & PSP very well. It's time for the Vita and the 3DS to get some of that love.

Sucks how Sony hasnt confirmed this for west yet. Its probably coming, I just hope it is closer to japanese release. :/

Hmm didn't we get soul sacrifice a year after release?

edit: actually a month after Japanese release.

and @suppadoopa answer my question on the previous page

This looks awesome:

Coming to Vita and PS4, didn't know about it. Anyone familiar with it?

Watch the Giant Bomb quick look. It looks awesome, EXCEPT it's only local multi right now. I imagine if it's coming out for PS4 and Vita they're going to add online.

I really hope this coming release of FFX/X-2 does well. It seems so at least. If so, we'll hopefully also get FFXII and who knows, perhaps something else from them
(DQVIII pleeeeeeaseeee)
.

Anyway, Vita is already the perfect FF machine, more of them will only make it even better.

Hmm they may not...looks like it needs super fast reactions (from that gif lol). Will check the GB quick look now thanks. Got a few friends who I may be able to convince but maybe not, hopefully single players holds up as an n+ type game but with enemies instead of pure platforming nightmare.

Oh wow, it's a brawler. Hmm. Looks fun...would need online...not sure if I should finish the quick look now.

I definitely await DQVIII on it. One of my most memorable games last-last gen.

Whenever I look at upcoming Vita games, it makes me wish I knew how to read Japanese. So many games that will probably never get localized.

Love it too, so I had to buy it digitally. Much better just to have it on the OS so I don't have to choose between it and any of my other cart games.

This would be one of those games that, on its own, could single handedly justify owning the system.

The music in spelunky is soooooo good.

Of all the things in Spelunky that surprised me it's how dam good the music sounds and how wonderfully it fits with the game.

my MAN!

have you heard the sax tune from the Caves yet? i love the soundtrack to this game so much.

you should check out the bandcamp page. some great tunes not in the game on there.

March 18

I must repent

and i did

Yea, that port doesn't exist in my mind. I would take a 3DS version, but it would be amazing on the OLED. It needs to happen.

Considering how good cel-shaded games look like on the Vita(Gravity Rush), I really want it on the Vita rather than the 3DS. There's not much use on the 2nd screen since it wasn't really designed for that.

Well, SE is trying to make sure it does as badly as possible IMO. I mean, if it sells a lot... what excuse would they have then?

No information on the Vita version has ever been talked about for the west. No confirmation if it's digital only, if they'll be available at retail either separate or a bundle or both, there's no price info and it's delayed.

At this rate, I just expect them to try and shove it under the rug and not release them.

It's SE after all. Did they ever officially cancel the PS3 version of The Last Remnant? Or did they just hope it would go away eventually? (as it did)

Can easily see them pull the same shit with this. It's not like they've bothered with Vita at all since launch. The only worldwide release was the least interesting game they've ever been attached to on Vita (Army Crops of Hell) and it's not like they're doing much in Japan.

I don't expect anything from SE on PS Vita.

They could have ported Theatrhythm to PS Vita, especially after it came to iOS. I mean, what was to lose? They didn't even do that. They could have also ported TWEWY after it came to iOS. Nope.avi

I bet it kills SE that they even have to support Vita with FFX and X-2, and I bet it kills them that they can't just move all 3DS support to mobile.

Horii probably doesn't even know what a Vita is.

Oh, and they haven't officially canceled The Last Remnant PS3. It still pops up on the Famitsu Most Wanted chart.

Hey, are they any good guides for Rayman Legends (vita) out there?
I'm missing a teensie in How to Shoot Your Dragon.
It's the Queen or King (whichever is on the left) and I have no idea where it is... it's driving me nuts.

Any help?

How is the
new Limbo faction?
Do they expand on neutral-based skills? I'm leveling a neutral character right now in vanilla and it seems like there's so little for us to use slot-wise (at this stage in the game.)

Wow, you can eat it or release it? Guess I need to DL this during lunch...

In vanilla soul sacrifice didn't neutral arm have really good HP sigils? In Delta when you are neutral you tend to have higher HP I believe. The whole Grimm faction is pretty cool since you can get both life and magic from saving/sacrificing monsters. Along with new maps and spells are really nice.

And yes I can eat that Item and turn it into to barrier, the item was made by fusing two tree spells.

Do we know if Hyper Light Drifter will hit Vita at the same day with other platforms?

It should but probably won't.

Oh god I don't want to spend a $100+ on fucking digimon World 2 but I don't have any other option since it was my friends that I borrowed but I left it for a while and now can't find it.

Can you remote play all ps1 games or just a few? Help me make this purchase worth it :(

Hmm I have all the teensies on that level. Maybe I can check it out. So you're missing the first secret area?

Edit: Oops, somehow missed that whole part in the op

So U.S. DLC content will work on U.S. games with no issue and it'll effectively be as if she has a U.S. system since we don't import games or use different accounts?

Edit 2: wow thanks guys! I think I'm gonna put in an order on play Asia then

My wife wants a vita but is asking if we can import the pink one from Japan

I know they're region free with some caveats but I don't know what the issues would be

U.S. memory card, U.S. account, U.S. games etc

What would be her restrictions? I know sometimes dlc is tied to the store but that won't matter if everything except the hardware is U.S. will it?

Pretty sure region problems only come up on the vita TV. I think you're fine on the vita 2000 so long as the account is U.S. That being said, I'm not 100% sure.

You can use US mem cards, a US PSN account and US games without problems on a Japanese Vita. The only "restriction" is that O is confirm and X is cancel on japanese PS consoles.

No issues with memory cards or games. You can create a US account also.

This is only a account issue for VitaTV because US/EU accounts aren't enabled for it yet.

So Soul Sacrifice Delta is a really big improvement from the first one it seems, the screenshots look great , and as i understand this time comes with native resolution. So, Yes i will certanley buy it again if it comes to the west.

I have at this moment more than 130 games on my Vita so im really pissed off about the 100 limit bubbles. Really pissed off , does the 3ds has this kind of limit?

I'm sorry to inform you that it does not have native resolution. However it does seem improved, floor textures look better in the cage compared to the original for example.

Did you check gamefaqs?

All I think.
And no, I was searching google for a video walkthrough, but some people were playing the console version and passing it off as Vita and it seemed the map was different.

Hmm I have all the teensies on that level. Maybe I can check it out. So you're missing the first secret area?

I managed to find it!
But thanks!

Now if only I had any hope of actually getting a diamond trophy/cup in the challenges. :(

sound shapes death mode is literally a creation of satan himself

fug this game

LOL. Yes, yes it is. I don't know what possessed me to go through completing them all, but I did it and got the Platinum Trophy. I hate trophies, so I really don't know. I think it was so absurdly hard, that my brain broke, and I couldn't stop playing until I beat it, or threw my Vita through a wall. I came very close to the latter, fortunately, the former happened before I got to that point.

But yeah, fuck Death Mode. There was a thread a few days back about the angriest you ever got in a game, and I actually didn't contribute to that thread, because I couldn't think of anything at the time, but you've triggered memories I long sought to suppress; Sound Shapes death mode...

EDIT: Holy shit, I FINALLY got a top of the page, now I can recommend shit!

New Vitabros and Vitabelles, get:

1) Tearaway. For the love of got get this frigging game! Unique, beautiful, charming, smartly designed!
2) Persona 4: The Golden. I was a noob to the series, but this game one me over, and turned me into a fanboy eagerly awaiting P5, and catching up on the older titles (well, mostly Persona 3...)
3) Soul Sacrifice: I can't remember if it's free on PS+. Even if it's not, get this game. It's very cool, and very fun.
4) Tokyo Jungle Mobile: It's not like the awesome PS3 version, but it still manages to retain the fun and charm.
5) Killzone: Mercenary: Beautiful visuals, responsive controls, interesting story, and the game design is different from the other entries, and a lot of fun.

Bonus recs: Guacamelee, Dragon's Crown, LittleBigPlanet Vita, and Terraria (out now in the EU, out Tuesday in the US).
