My 64gb card finally arrived and I set up the vita for the first time this weekend.

I completely forgot that I had been saving games for up to a year, or more, on my playstation plus subscription. Lot more games to play than I expected. Went ahead and abought PS4G and Ys: Celceta so I'll be good for a long while. Also, I have to say that I am greatly enjoying Soul Sacrifice. Once I get leveled up enough I'll be checking out the online portion.

The anime adaptation for F/SN wasn't very good, so I think it'd still be worth importing. There are also three story routes in the game, and the anime only covered one.

If you want something else though, Steins;Gate is excellent. The story's great, the characters are likable, and the art is really nice.

There are 3 routes on the Game.

-Fate
-Unlimited Blade Works
-Heaven's Feel

The only ones that were aired were Fate and Unlimited Blade Works(movie)

There are also a lot of scenes that were omitted from the TV series and the movie so if you can understand Japanese, that game is good.

I recommend Corpse Party, VLR and Daganronpa.
 
My physical Vita collection is getting fairly big:

But ugh, there are several retail games that I've bought digitally because they were such a good deal with PS+ discounts that I wish I would have bought the physical copy of! That includes Rayman Origins, Lumines, Virtua Tennis 4, Jak Collection, Sly Thieves in Time, and maybe more. As a LITTLE bit of a collector (not remotely a die-hard collector), I just prefer having the physical copies.

Oh, and yes, I have two copies of Resistance, lol. When I bought my second Vita, which was used, it came with Resistance, CoD, and Dungeon Hunter - three games that aren't really worth owning, but the Vita and those three games were just $100 so what the heck.

Anybody else mainly buy physical?
 
Just realized Ys Seven was on the PSN store. Today is a great day.

Is it standard difficulty like other Ys games? Where hard is how they intended the game be played.

it isnt? OMG but those screenshots are great , anyway it does look a lot better.

Malicious Rebirth had an update to 1.02 in japan wich includes some fix and new free costumes. This is a great game despite the little frame dropds , some people say the game plays like in slow motion but i have played ps3 and vita version and i think this is on purpose . The music on this game , the way it looks , the world , everything is really magical and reminds me for some reason to that world presented in the mighty Elemental Gearbolt of psx , wich i dont understand why i cannot play on my Vita.

Flower is something amazing and i cant afford to not mention this. Buy it and rate it , i cannot beleive there is no ads on the Vita store promoting this game, its almost a steal .

P4G is the best jrpg i have played in about 10 years at least, its one of the most polished and it has an amazing way to show the characters profiles , their lives , their personalities. They feel and act as real life friends. This is something refreshing and surprises me more and more every minute i spend on this game(im about 50 hours).

(1) you're crazy. it's not on purpose.
(2) in what world are they "little"? The game goes from fluid in the hub to slideshow in most battles. The PS3 version is better, but it's still not really "good".

I'd actually rebuy the game a third time on PC if it would actually run at a constant 60fps.

Just got P4G yesterday, i was waiting for a sale on eu psn but after finishing Tearaway up to 95% i needed some fresh experience.

My first session lasted 7h.
it's just too fun to play ,environments are immersive and enjoyable and the story is intriguing and the characters are awesome.
Can't wait to sink some more hours in.
 
Sonic Racing has too much content.

Every time I think I'm nearing the end I just unlock a whole new raft of stuff! Still have a few A class world tour events (struggling with the last few drift and traffic events) and the last couple of mirror GP events. I haven't even begun to think about tackling expert mode, or touched the online.

Nothing else is getting a look in!

Well, the S-E 3DS support is not that bad. It has DQ, Bravely Default (soon its sequel) and that FF rythm game. It's on the Vita where they are slacking. I hope it sells decently, so Square starts giving some attention to the Vita, even if it becomes their port machine.

Malicious Rebirth is twice the PS3 game , has 5 more bosses and the camera is way better than the ps3 version, the game is beautiful , the music is beautiful and yes i beleive the game is intentionally puting you on a world where the character floats , the game was and still is a way better game than the ps3 version despite the frame drops . I think Malicious is worth more than most of those indie games that are 10/15 dollars like stealth inc . or RCR . It has a lot of work put into it.
The game is not a simple hack n slash game , it is a bizarre mix couse bosses in most cases requires more strategy than simply smashing the buttons. The game is challenging.
In conclusion i dont think it deserves the same treat as for example chronovolt (wich mysteriously runs on the same engine)


If you see this video for example you can see clearly that there is a difference between the floating sensation and the real frame drops that only shows when there is much going on in the screen , i mean why else the guy you control floats always and the enemies still running at normal speed even when there is a lot going on... it is obviously intentional.And this same thing happens on the PS3 version maybe with a difference of 3 fps in favor of the PS3...

I think a fair review is this one http://arcadesushi.com/malicious-rebirth-review/, althou for me the game is a solid 8/10 despite flaws . Its not a game for anyone , you must like challenging games like for example the megaman zero saga.

I played Hotline a little bit on PC, but my crappy old laptop meant it chugged like crazy. I also plan on getting a PS Plus trial so... I'll have some more things to play right?
 
Unless the game is a port from an originally 60FPS game, I don't understand pixel/framerate hunters at all.

Just play the fucking game. I never complained about framerate on my PSX games (even if many of them have those, looking back). I never complained about how sluggish some SNES titles looked. Or N64. I just played them, finished them and created fond memories of them.

Sigh... I'll probably be some type of retrogamer in the future.

I dunno man, Soul Sacrifice has ps1 textures, Tearaway has n64 graphics, Valhalla Knights 3 has psp graphics and so on, why Ys has a pass?

I mean look at this sub native res, low poly, blurry mess

If you're in the US you can get Hotline Miami for free with Playstation Plus, and Spelunky is on sale for the next 24 hours or so (reg. price is $14.99, it's 50% off for everyone or 75% for Plus subscribers). Both are highly recommended!

Thank you for everyone who suggested Fate/Extra to me, that game is the reason I am not online for the past few days. The goddamn Caster is a cutie but is the very definition of a glass cannon. Almost all creeps constantly busts my ass like Brown on Rihanna.
 
Super excited about the FFX/X-2 release. Hopefully many people buy them so Square can give more support to the Vita. Hopefully in the form of DQVIII and FFXII.

I honestly have no idea. My fiancée bought a new bookcase recently and gave me that one as my old bookcase was way too small for the amount of stuff I have. I do really like it, though.

see, I didn't mention anything graphic related for both games that I do and still have issues with their graphics/artstyle.

so if the post was about my full review/impressions about Ys Cel I'll talk about that, but it's not.

and if you got upset about VK3 "psp like" comment for some reason, I was just been honest for the reason why I didn't get it. game look like complete crap and unlike Ys the series track record is not good.
