My prediction:

It'll be on things like Wii Fit, Party and Sports etc i.e updates to stuff nobody gives 2 shits about.

Some stuff about how Kart and Smash are progressing nicely. Maybe a small clip on each.

More on just how innovative Cranky Kong is.

A Bow.

No sign of:
New games.
Third parties.
A proper account System.
Hope.

Hype train doesn't start till we walk in

I want to be hyped but I can't. Nintendo, please drop the bombs.

Nintendo Direct
Starts
**** Iwata laughs, Directly to you, if you have a Wii U look at your gamepads *****
**** GIF of the GAF Hype Train shows on the gamepad ****
**** Now downloading directly to your Wii Us Metroid Prime 4/Bayo 2 demos
you know it is just WSC Golf
****
**** Iwata: one last thing, shows X, MK and Zelda U new footage ****
**** Iwata: you like it? thats it for now tune in for another Nintendo direct ****

Hope there some type of reaction to the abysmal sales during the direct. We need more games and new studios making them, Iwata.
Im of the people that dont want him to be fired, because the solution to that is even worse, but I want that he sees the facts of whats really happening and changes the ship direction by himself.

I hope we get a glimpse of Mario Golf. Hopefully the extended absence/delay means we won't get a dreadfully bare bones experience like the hugely disappointing Mario Tennis Open. Don't fail me again, Camelot.

I didn't read your first post. Please understand.

Guys, I think I know what the problem is. We think the reason for our disappointment is all the hype right before a Nintendo Direct. And we think too much hype means impossible expectations. Now everyone's all scared of hoping, of hyping, because they think they'll be let down anyway.
I have a different theory. There's not enough hype. Think about it, there's no other way: Someone at Nintendo is reading all of this, and again and again they're disappointed with the level of hype, with our pitiful ideas, so they continuously let us down as a way of punishing us. Simply because we don't deserve it. They're trying to make us understand that. The appearance at the VGX was their most drastic measure yet, and it served to wake us up. And in their immense kindness, they still decided to give us Cranky Kong.

I say yes to believe. I say yes to hype. There's still hope, some of you here have the right idea, but the collective hype still isn't big enough. We can do better than this. No, we must. Wii U's fate depends on it. We know the alternative all too well: Nintendo will go 3rd party, Pokémon Snap will be released on Android platforms only, and the Zelda franchise will be bought by EA to serve as a cornerstone in their new and upcoming wave of full-priced f2p games featuring excessive microtransactions.

Yet not all is lost. If there's enough hype, we'll be rewarded. The games will come. I can feel it.
