And apparently Sakurai, the quaint lil' cat man who once complained about people taking up-skirt shots of Peach in Brawl, is the Walter White of self-serving Internet perverts.

Yeah. I like the armor, looks sleek. Not much of a fan of the ZSS and Ridley designs from that game though.

Possible reasons why Link has his Twilight Princess design:

1. Twilight Princess was better received than Skyward Sword, and the TP Link design also showed up in Link's Crossbow Training and the Wii U tech demo. TP definitely had more of an impact than SS.

2. Sakurai might not feel comfortable with having to create original SS-style designs for both Sheik and Ganondorf. It's also kind of strange for me to imagine SS Zelda fighting.

We did get Peach, Sonic and Toon Link quite close to each other, so 8 days between Rosalina and Zelda is possible. Plus it's Christmas so maybe Sakurai will give us a gift.

That scarf is a better weapon than the master sword.

I had SS Link and ALbW Link as representing the Zelda series. Sort of weird that he kept Toon Link after his series seemingly ended.

Depends on the screenshot and character, I don't feel this artstyle does everything right. I do have a few complaints.

Sexulization

Mario for instance still looks the same as he always has, his designed hasn't really been altered in any way for Smash Bros. U, however, characters like Rosalina and Peach have had them altered in a way I'm not particularly a fond of. "How?" might you ask? Well, take a look at their official art and how they are portrayed in the video games.

If anything Smash Peach's proportions are closer to her canon appearance. 3D World made her smaller to fit with Mario/Luigi/Toad's gameplay.

Everyone mocked Miyamoto when he said they would have to do similar things to get her into a NSMB-style game. Welp, they did it.

It's good. It looks much better here than it does in Other M, where Samus just stood around looking rather awkward.

Still would prefer the Prime suit, tiny head and all. That might have something to do with Metroid Prime being my favorite game, but I still think it's a cool-looking suit. Love the ginormous arm cannon.

It would also give us the best morph ball design in the series. So pretty.

It looked like plastic garbage in Other M (although everything in that game looked awful) which made it almost comical considering how much better looking her suit was in Metroid Prime 1 back on GC.
