If you have a dpdt switch you can use one cord for both the PCBs (assuming that the XB1 pad is common ground)
Damn. I am working on the skeleton of the new sdtechin site and I'm coming up with lists of products.
I know this might sound stupid (coming from me), but am I missing anything on this list? LOL.

What's the difference between the TE-S+ and the TE-S? Is it just the way the stick is built?
I will help you out.
There are ways to mod a PS3 stick to work on another console. You can use a 360 PCB chained through a Toodles IMP PCB. You can take the sorta easier way with the PS360+ PCB since wiring is a bit easier and very minimal soldering. There are a couple of videos on YouTube for installing the PS360+ to a PS3 TE stick specifically so you can still use the control panel.
Ah, i see. Rather strange though since D+ and D- would still be isolated using a DPDT switch. Is the PS3 PCB active currently (as in are the ground and +5v of both PCBs connected together)?I do have a DPDT in the stick actually. However the XBONE pad requires extra resistors for D+ and D- and I just haven't bothered.

FYI, Hori sent out an email that they will be selling Hayabusa sticks and their proprietary buttons by themselves outside of Fighting Edge.
i got that too. el hype.
I'd love to bid, but I don't have that kind of money.![]()
I am conflicted right now. Seeing the prices that the first 4 sticks ended at... I am really unsure if I should go for the one I want.
HMMM.
I'm gonna keep the non-numbered sample (there are 2 in existence). We will probably raffle the other one off.

Yes Boss! I thought about that, that's a great idea but I don't think we (as a company) can do that legally. It is considered gambling in our state.
An individual should be able to do that though. I might do that with the extra one just to help raise more funds for the charity. But MCZ can't do it officially or promote it
Double edged sword haha.
Any word on Hori PS3 arcade sticks working on PS4?
Wondering if my PS3 Real Arcade Pro V3 SA KAI is future proof.
none of mine work
plugged in my HRAP V3 VF5 stick and the ps4 said it didnt recognize the device
both my VLX diamonds wouldnt even register (no lights or even onscreen message).

Isn't the word about compatibility that it's a per-game basis? Killzone don't care about your arcade stick so it won't work, but Street Fighter V will likely support them. Or did I imagine this?
i never tried these on killzone...
it is a per game basis but i dont have injustice to try it out.
what i did was plug them see if i could move around the xmb (or whatever the new interface is called).
i'm still optimistic other games will get sticks to work but until then, this is all i have to go by.
How much did you raise?
This has been a few months in coming, but after some info from hibachifinal confirming this was probably going to work, I ordered some parts from Akihabarashop. They finally came in today, and I did a thing.

To the left is what I hope will solve most of the issues with both the mini controller (pictured) and the arcade style F controller - switching out the 30mm button styled microswitch (as soon on the button to the right) with something a lot more rigid. In its place is a Sanwa OBS-M-1 switch assembly, with a microswitch style you'd expect to find in a pop'n music or IIDX controller button. I neglected to purchase new .187 quick disconnects, so in this picture I test fit the stock .110s by cutting a slit in the rubber shrink-tubing and slipping it over the edge of the contacts. It holds better than I would have thought, but it's by no means a secure fit... though I'm probably going to have to do something like this for the X and down buttons, which due to the support shaft being in the way don't have room for .187 disconnects to be slipped on unless I can give the disconnects a 90 degree bend first.
The difference is dramatic; instead of a complete lack of feedback with actuation before the button bottoms out, the new switch provides some more resistance, and a "click" you can hear and feel at the point of actuation. The downside is the point of actuation is now lower and the switch requires much more operating force to actuate, so short of drilling out the rivet and replacing it with switches requiring less operating force, this mod forces you to slam the buttons pretty hard, which also results in the controller making a lot more noise than before. The advantage, though, is that there should be absolutely no misfiring or stuck inputs like what can happen with the stock design.
I'm hoping to have all the buttons on the F controller fitted with these switches for MAGFest, which will be the real test; the F controller in particular has an issue where just slapping the top surface can trip a few buttons, which I'm hoping is a problem this will make go away.
Hi guys, I'm basically a newbie about arcade sticks, last year I bought a WWE Brawlstick (basically a MadCatz SE if I remember correctly) due to the low price and the fact that it's easy to mod with Sanwa parts. I've read a bunch of guides on how to mod it and which parts to buy, the main problem is that I don't know where to buy them from. I live in italy, is there any online store that I can use? Thanks
Yeah, it is octo gate. I tried to find the photo from 2008 but I think that photobucket account is overloaded.
The reason you're unable to get real information on this, is because what's in the machine and what's in the stick are different. Machines came with octo gates from Konami. The sticks game with square gates.
That's two owners that attest it has a square gate and one owner that attests it has an octo gate... orz
Maybe Hori/Konami mixed it up and different users got different things. They may be correct (perhaps). In any case a I dug up my photo from 2009. Octo it is!
Also, I believe this was my second stick ever and first theme stick so it has a special place in my heart!
Whoa - crazy that they "butterflied" the button switches like that, I've never seen that doneNo heat-shrink tubing either, just a blob of hot glue!
I'm actually looking one for now, but more because I think it'll help solve a problem with the Project DIVA F controller's touchscreen when the sequel comes if I have the touchscreen in a more portable form to be able to send to someone...
And we have liftoff:

Stock .110 quick disconnects chopped off, .187 quick disconnects crimped, main 8 microswitches replaced. Left the L/R/Start buttons alone but maybe when I buy more parts I'll go back and do L and R too. Haven't had a chance to test with the game but it works fine testing with a PC and feels much more like an arcade controller now.
Also talking with some people about seeing what can be done about that touchscreen for F 2nd... anyone have a Hori Otomedius stick they want to sell me? .-.
