It's an access road you heathen!

I felt the same way for many of them. Expect for the drive through beer/liquor store. I've always called these magical places 'beer caves'. Same with everyone else I know.
Not gonna even argue as apparently a very limited area says service road lol.

Hahaha, calling the night before Halloween "Devil's Night" basically means you grew up in the metro Detroit broadcast region, LOL.

Guess I got caught.

I still can't believe those are even a thing.
They are in LA and I'd imagine not many other places which is why I thought the question was kind of a cheap one. One of the answers asks you to basically state they exist where you live. That's not linguistic sleuthing. :/

The darkest red is incredibly accurate.

Retook the test (result even showed up on iOS!), got Santa Rosa, Sacramento, and Oxnard this time. A little better, I did grow up in Fresno and lived in Santa Barbara for a while.

No map here but the only question they needed was pop. I can't leave this part of the country and say that without someone looking at me funny.

What part of the country are you from? Near the US/Canada border?

I'm in Canada, and we all say "pop". In fact, the only time I ever hear anyone say "soda" is when they say "soda pop", lol.

I always assumed everyone just called it a semi truck.

I call it a semi, semi truck, 18 wheeler, freight truck, and big rig.

Of course, I call a feeder road multiple things as well in that I call them frontage and service roads too.

Same for freeways, I call them highways, freeways, and interstates if they happen to also be an interstate highway.

I also say y'all, you lot, and you all depending upon the attitude I am addressing a group with.

For this quiz, I just chose which one I would use when addressing my folks.

It said my most similar three cities were

Lincoln, Nebraska
Spokane, Washington
Salt Lake City, Utah

from Omaha, Nebraska.

Some of the questions felt like cheating, like asking if you had drive through liquor stores or not.

edit: since it won't give me the share link:

To you. I've used both terms interchangeably all my life :p
How can it be a garage sale if they don't have garage? I let the little signs littering the grassy area between the curb and the sidewalk for which I have no name determine what it should be called. But if it's advertised as a garage sale and I pull up and see no garage I ask for management right away >:(

Can't share it, but got a map with a dark streak or red going from all of the west coast before petering off around the Midwest. In all fairness, the Cincinnati area (where I grew up) was one of the redder spots.

Just means it's an uncovered garage sir.

I live in Arkansas (4 years) and it had me in Florida, it's interesting because I didn't grow up in the US. At least it got the South part right.

Jacksonville, Florida. Tallahassee, Florida and Mobile, Alabama.

Took the test I live in Ohio but it says I'm the the Kentucky and Tennessee area.

We're all midwest-Appalachian bumpkins. There's a five-state area it can put you in and still be accurate.

Pop is used heavily around the KYOWVA area. Congrats, you may be a red neck. :P
