That's weird I tried 4k in DayZ and it actually blurs a bit? Looks like I'm too used to nvidia downsampling trick.

So wait... is this 4K downsampled? Because I'd say it looks fine.
That looks awesome? They really stepping up with those lego games on PC..now i want to buy it!
I wonder how costly it would've been to have that vegetation cast shadows. I kinda wish they'd throw in the option for the hell of it.
But I suppose if it runs like crap to begin with (from what I read, anyway), there's no point in making things worse.
I picked this up yesterday as the GMG price was too good to pass up. Is the HUD removed or cut scenes?
Just to give you some idea. Everything maxed, 3840x2160, 8xMSAA when it started raining, it used anywhere from 4230mb to 4515mb VRAM. lol (I'm running SLI Titans)

So I think having full dynamic shadows for all vegetation is asking a little too much lmao

That looks super clean. I know you'd think texture quality wouldn't really matter with an art style like that but it seems like a big step up from The Walking Dead.
What res was that rendered at?
I need to go higher!

Run BF4 at 4800x2700 then crank the Res scale to 200% with 4xMSAA and PPAA lol
Why do that when I can....
![]()
Yess!
This isn't needed for BF4. I've already taken 6K screenshots of BF4.
Also why go through all that trouble to get such a high resolution and then destroy the image quality with PPAA?
I'm pretty upset that I still can't log into Nether since I bought it (last night) =(

I tried that custom resolution program, but when I try 2880 it's red, even at 30 Refresh rate... Any ideas?
Oh, wait, I'm using a native 1080... does that mean 2880 is too much for me?
I've never heard of anyone hitting 5120x2880 on a 1080p monitor. I think the reason it works for 1440p monitors is dual-link DVI.
I can get 6K (5760x3240) on my 1080p TV via DVI-HDMI converter.

You gotta give us some details on how you got that res, and that is some HOT shit right there.
I didn't even do any tweaking. I was testing how high it will go and I ended up with 5120x2880 @ 30Hz and 5760x3240 @ 25 Hz. The TV is a Samsung LE40B650 (it might be called differently in the US) connected via random DVI-HDMI cable. You gotta give us some details on how you got that res, and that is some HOT shit right there.
