Do anyone remember Sakurai's comments about giving up free times (weekends and holidays) to completing Super Smash Bros Melee. (Hence 9 months confusion) I wonder if it is possible that they are doing same thing with Super Smash Bros 4?

Ehh I don't think that is likely since he may be working on features for both versions including a way to connect them some how. Dude has a lot on his plate for this game and he needs to take his time all while trying to balance that cast and get healthier. Imo, the only time constraint that could push the game to an earlier release is the fact that Namco Bandai may eventually need their teams/staff back to start heavily working on their own projects.

The Starfy series is kind of like Kirby, where they're easy for their target audience but have some amount of depth to 100% them.

But none of them are really that great.
