Kirby can be really fun. I loved doing the True Arena in Kirby Superstar Ultra with all the different powerups. My favorite was using Wrestler Kirby and grappling stars into bosses.

But it's not the sort of game you come back to after you're done playing it.

He's an assist trophy that you can attack and just stands around most of the time. He's something of a joke.

Can't believe Sakurai didn't use a shot also showing the Yellow Devil.

Considering the stage they're on, I think Sakurai probably intended to initially, but he would of had to pan the shot back a lot to fit everyone in, which would of taken the focus off Starfy.

It's good to see Starfy hasn't reached not-worthy-of-Smash obscurity levels yet. Incidentally, Classic Game Room has a good review of Starfy 5, which you can also find for around $10 on Amazon. If you like lighthearted, easygoing side-scrollers, it's definitely recommended.

Well, Japanese don't really celebrate Christmas the same way as we usually do. However I felt bad that he's sitting down next to his office desk and eating chocolate cake instead celebrating with his wife.
