She got the roll in Melee.
Oh right, lol. Dunno why I thought Brawl added that.
Still, it was a decent kill move in Brawl. Helped offset her crappy sleep somewhat.

I don't dislike Jigglypuff, but I don't really like it, either.
If given my druthers, I'd like to see it replaced with another Pokemon

Dillon would be cool. Obviously he would have a roll like Jiggly/Sonic but has some unique possibilities too. Imagine if you could place a turret tower on the stage.

While incredibly unlikely, I think it would be cool if a smaller character was given a shot in Smash, like Dillion, Mallo, Pauline, Ashley or someone like that. WFT, Villager and Mii are all WTF characters to some extent, but also come from successful franchises. Would be nice to see something really left of field.

Pauline would be amazing. I think she would be an awesome rep for the DK series.
I had previously thought up a brief overview of her moveset too. It's pretty spectacular.
I don't think Pauline would make it before Daisy. It would be cool though, I guess.

Eh, I don't see her as really competing with Daisy. She would be a DK rep and has the whole Mario vs. DK sub series of stuff to draw from. (As well as the original Donkey Kong and Pinball, of course.) I'd consider her from a totally different group.
Daisy's biggest competition is Peach, and now Rosalina.

I don't know what her moveset could be, but she'd be cool. I think eventually we might see her, Little Mac, Takamaru, Waluigi, Daisy and so on in Smash. Heck, maybe even the Devil from Devil's World. Lol.

I always had this idea if Smash had a spin-off type game it would be cool to see it full of characters like the ones you mentioned. Imo, Smash does not have the freedom to add all those characters now but I still would like to see one or two truly unlikely characters. Smash could instantly bring new life to them.
To this day I still can't believe Jigglypuff still can't catch a break from haters who haven't gotten over her inclusion, she's in the game and has been in it all 3 -times, all the other Pokemon not playable can take a seat, Jigglypuff is marching in.

I think Sakurai gave him on purpose a more androgynous characterization. Smash 4 is a much more mature title and is aimed at a much broader audience, as seen by the many female characters additions. This is why Link's masculine look couldn't be portrayed anymore.

My concept for Pauline would see her mainly using the Minis from the Mario vs. Donkey Kong series. Each Mini would have a different function, and she would essentially be a trap character, trying to lure people into her hordes of tiny metal toys. She would also have some throwback things for her normal moves, like her parasol, hat and purse. (She could also rebound off the Pinball platform and/or spring jump from DK for her recovery move as another throwback.)
I think this would make her a really unique and interesting character.

Why can't Masked Link be a character in this game? His regular form would essentially be Toon Link with some alterations, but Down+B would change into a cycle of his other forms ie; Goron, Deku, and Zora. Deku Link would be quick and nimble, Goron would be slow but powerful, and Zora would be in-between, all with their various attacks from Majora's Mask. Fierce Deity Link would be the Final Smash, obviously.

2) We already have 2 Links.
I'm right there with you though. Gameplay-wise, it sounds like a great character. My only concern is that, like some people were discussing a while ago, transitioning characters have never really been done well in Smash
