Eh, I would say they were liars honestly.. I don't know a single guy that wouldn't be turned off by chest hair (though I'm sure some find it attractive) excess hair has been ingrained heavily in all of us to be unattractive in women, and although I know it doesn't make any sense, its still unattractive to me.

That said, arm hair doesn't bother me at all
 
Yah OP this will not end well for you. Human beings have hair. Get over it. If you are that pety to let a little hair get in the way of knowing a person then you deserve to be alone forever.

I have to admit that chest hair on women doesn't sound all that hot. Kate Upton lip hair is something you see pretty much on every women. I have majestic chest rug and I keep it at check. Everybody can have much hair as they want on their body but not all people appreciate it.
 
I'm not going much out on a limb by saying that most people would find a woman more attractive if she shaved and was less hairy. Most people probably find men and women who are more average sized attractive instead of those who are on the obese side. I agree that people have the right to look however they want, but please don't delude women by lying and telling them they look just as attractive unshaven as they do shaved.

OP is being overly blunt (or trolling) but is correct.
 
How come unkept guys who don't abide by the rules of hygiene and cleanliness can universally be mocked, laughed at and looked down upon, but once a chromosome is removed it's sexist, mean and reflects more on the person pointing it out than the person who has the hazardous hair?

Just wondering.

People aren't perfect and you saw that and moved on, she could of seen something in you she didn't like.

Also, I'm pretty sure all men aren't socially pressured into waxing/shaving most of their body.

I don't find it attractive either, but you can be nice about it.

EDIT: Should clarify that I don't think arm hair is unattractive. But face/armpit/chest/whatever isn't my thing.

Anyway, I find excessive amount on upper lip, armpit and maybe chest unattractive. Otherwise light hair is fine.
 
I know I'm not supposed to feel this way, but yeah, body hair on a women is gross. A tiny bit of arm-pit hair or well trimmed pubic hair, I can live, but hairy arms or untamed bush? Nasty.
