Those load screens were cool for practicing your slides.
And for beating up your friends. I'll miss them

What in the fuck is a timed limited achievement? Exactly what it says on the box?
That is an achievement like "score X points in the first 2 weeks of release" or something like that. an Achievement you can only get if you buy the game at launch window.
It is another way for the publisher to give an incentive to buy the game when it launches rather than buy used, because buying used will be outside that window and the achievement will probably not be available.
didn't they said the same for the wii u version?
That's awful.
Wonderful, now to decide which version to get.
They're called Challenges I think and every game has them. They rotate every so often and some offer rewards.
The Xbox One version has new time-limited achievements. How do these work?
On Xbox One, youll find 10 exclusive challenges that you have to complete in a limited amount of time. Theyre in addition to the existing achievements on Xbox 360 and that will also be in the Xbox One version. These challenges require you to perform specific actions during a limited amount of time (one week). They are associated with various aspects of the game, such as player skills, co-op play, Kung Foot, and so on.

No they are not. They are complete & utter shit, especially the Daily & Weekly challenges.Still with this? They're good with a touchscreen![]()
Does the PC version already have uncompressed textures and no loading?
Make it £25-30 and it's bought.
It is £35 on Amazon.
Missed Rayman last year in all the holiday madness. Still not sure if I want to go with Wii U or XB1, people seemed to actually like the murffy levels with the touch screen.
There is a demo on Wii U eshop, give it a try. And if you have a friend to play this with, the co-op is great.
They are good, but my chief complaint with the Wii U games centers on the fact that those levels basically require you to look at the game pad. With such beautiful visuals on display, it sucks having to look at the ugly gamepad screen rather than your own TV. That honestly put me off from playing those levels until I had no choice.Still with this? They're good with a touchscreen![]()
I had tried the demo and I found it to be pretty boring moving platforms for an AI. Are all of those levels pretty much the same? Or does it get more "interesting" than that?

i only played a bit of the 360 game, are the "murffy levels" the ones in which you need to hit a button to have murffy activate switches and tickle enemies and shit, or are there actual levels where you play as murffy?
But Xbox ONE is 720p.
Also.....AWESOME! I had no idea this was coming out for next gen. Definitely getting this!

I remember a similar quote for the Wii U version of the game
Not sure why uncompressed textures is a selling point...the game already looked gorgeous on Wii U (and PS3 and 360 I'm assuming), and I never felt like the load times were an issue (but power to them if they got rid of them completely).
I guess I'm still confused as to why Ubisoft is porting this other than an easy cash grab.
Will buy, but not at $59.99.
Replace the Murfy levels with actual platforming and my money is yours.
I think it is $40 in US Amazon. In UK it is £30 or £35
They get more complex and inventive, but the core mechanic of moving stuff to clear a path for the player remains the same.
I personally didn't like the Murphy stages; I felt they were interruptions for the actual gameplay; but a ton of people loved them so I guess it depends on who you are.
The level in the demo is a very easy one, of course, but in the end that's the principle of it, to help the AI to find the right path. They get quite challenging sometimes and I like most the part where you juggle through the lasers/lights/enemies and the underwater part. The co-op is great because you need good coordination and the Murfy player must really time it well.

come on now
Word. Murphy levels are the worst levels in the game.
Can someone please explain what the purpose of triple dipping on a game like this is? Don't mean to troll, I just genuinely can't understand this. Ok, if you want to have it portable and at home, that I can see. But to re-buy the exact same game because they cut out 10 seconds of loading, and the textures are slightly more HD than they already were? Some gamers have an "interesting" way of managing their budget.
BTW I found the touchscreen murphy stages really fun on Wii U, I really can't imagine any other way of playing those stages.
