Is this post patch or pre-patch?
Part pre-patch, but they also added some information that the patch didn't do much. The fog is still bad. the SH2 videotape tampering is still there. Wrong soundeffects also. The horrible new voices are still in SH3 and no way to get the original ones. Depth Of Field is missing (except a few cases where they even managed to fuck it up). Self Shadowing is missing. etc bla bla. I could go on and on. They can't fix this broken turd. They would have to properly reverse engineer it and then release that instead of trying to fix a broken port of a broken beta version.
Don't. There are so many things wrong with it. Buy them on PS2 or PC.

I'm curious what the heck they use to ship their items. Ultra fast pigeons?
Bought Wario, thanks Dash!
I already own Wii Party U and yeah, there are like 4-5 different modes which require you to roll dices to progress and minigames are used to choose who can roll the most dices. I already have ~40 hours on the activity log and tried every minigame. It's a good party game, just don't overuse it like I did because it gets old kinda fast (all my friends tried every minigame, I hate rolling dices because I'm mr. unlucky and they hate me because I win every minigame)
Cool. That sounds exactly what I need, too bad the art is so bland and uninspired but everything else you've said seems to more than make up for it. Or maybe *you* will sell me on Wario in a few days, who knows lol
Sony are doing the Music Unlimited thing £3 for 3 months.
Pretty cool on Ps4 you can listen to music in game using it (a decent option until they patch in mp3 support)

I think I must be alone in just really not being bothered about having my own music in games.
Good deal, I had the sub before and used it once or twice, but now with Deezer on my phone and a bluetooth speaker I wouldn't use this anymore.
I keep wondering if it would be a good idea for Konami to commission a "proper" remaster for the new generation that works kinda like a "we're sorry" ...but then again that would suck for people who bought this current mess and would then be rightfully pissed if Konami wanted their money again.
Pokemon Conquest supposedly in stock for £1.99 at GAME.co.uk. I've used all £1.99 worth of my reward points to order a copy, we'll see if they actually have any.
For what it's worth, the stock alert I set up for Pokemon Conquest triggered twice today. I missed it the first time but got it the second time, so it's still worth keeping an eye on it in case more show up.

Wii Fit U, the game, balance board and Fit Meter bundle, is £60 on Zavvi. That's £54 with the inevitable 10% off. Seems to be around £80-85 everywhere else.
An alternative is fit meter from Game £15, used balance board from Game £6
download Wii Fit U trail and use meter to activate to full version.

I had considered that, but a balance board is the last thing I'd be buying second-hand. Especially having seen what GAME's clientèle are like.

Silicone covers for them are cheap.
Anyone here bought either a second hand controller or a 3rd party controller?
Mine is playing up and although it seemed to have been fixed by me clearing out the insides, it's now gone back to being crappy. And I'm halfway through The Last of Us, and really don't want to leave it now. Any recommendations?
I just really cannot be bothered paying £40 for a new one when the only game I want to play on the console (in fact any console) is the second half of one game. Might just pop to HMV and Game at lunchtime and see if they have any decent second hand ones in. A load of people must have traded shit in when getting their PS4.
Got an email from Play.com for its deal of the day on this Powerline adapter for £15.99.
Anyone know if it's worth it? Seriously been considering one of these for the PS3, but I missed out on a bargain posted at HUKD a couple of weeks ago where someone found one for £6 or £7 at Tesco.
Is this still a good deal, and is it worth it? Thanks for any help!
I use a similar model from the same company, and it's great. So much more reliable than wireless for gaming. Only issue I've had is that I switch the wires between my PC and Xbox often, since I only have one set and it can sometimes take a while & some resetting to get everything working again. Dunno if that's just me or a common issue though.
I got mine for about £25 a while back so I'd say £15.99 is a great price.
Do you know if these work if plugged into a extension lead with a surge protector?
My wall socket is far enough away from my consoles that if I have to run a network cable from this plugged into the wall to the console, I might as well just run a network cable to the router.
Where did you guys preorder dark souls II?
I think they can in theory but I couldn't say for sure. I'd imagine it'd create a bit more latency if it does.
I use the exact same model and its a much better signal than I get from my wireless (actually pretty much as good as running a wire to the box).
For me it works on most of my extensions but the signal strength drops slightly (but not enough to make any difference) *but* I have one extension (a fancy Belkin one) that it absolutely refused to work with.
Also you will find the drop off happens on 'both' sides - so putting it into an extension at the starting point gives a lower strength signal , and then putting it into another extension at the far end reduces it even more.
So for the best results you want a direct plug into the wall at both ends - and you wont be 100% sure that it will work with your surge protected stuff but the answer is that it 'probably' will as some of mine are surge protected and its no issue.
Thanks for the info. Will ponder it a bit more, but quite tempted.
Also, some price error on Nintendo UK site?
Download codes for a bunch of games under £10.
Includes:
Pikmin 3
Wonderful 101
DKC Returns 3D
Mario and Luigi: Dream Team
LEGO City 3DS
Animal Crossing New Leaf
Act fast, I guess.
Would I be able to redeem them on a EU/FR account ? I'm totally new to WiiU and have no idea, but I would love Pikmin and Wonderful 101 at that price !
