I'm guessing a lot of the people who bought a Vita got it for this game and the holiday sales helped it out a bit.

What I'm really interested in, and the only real surprise to me that I wouldn't have guessed two weeks ago is the GT6 sales.
Is it simply a function of next-gen stealing its thunder or have they seriously lost momentum with that franchise? I genuinely think it could be the latter. GT7 needs to be damn near a reinvention, and Polyphony needs to break out of their Nintendo-esque bubble.

Quarter aligned the last we got 3DS shipment WW the difference was something like 7 million.
3DS is reaching saturation in Japan (near 15 million or so) but in US and Europe sales were disappointing (good but nothing special) so who knows if it has peaked.
I thought the Xbone would have sold more since they shipped so many of them to the US and only launched in 13 countries.

I don't think 6 million is a small margin?(probably?) It might get bigger to 9-10 million if we get the 3DS sales this 3Q which is probably 40m++

They are ranges. BF4 sold between the two numbers around it. He's always done that. And he usually refrains from direct numbers.

GameCube sold 619k in December 2002 according to an old Beyond3D thread on the NPD for that month.
That being said, Wii U is somewhere in the ~4M range in units sold now and GameCube was 3.5 at the same point.
Have to think inevitable aggressive price cuts, a possible revision and the release of games like Smash Brothers and Mario Kart 8 will all pop the Wii U a bit, at least in the short term - just like the GameCube was popped by a cut to $99.
Speaking of which, there was the $30 price drop for W101 right? Wonder what kind of impact that made.

How many did the PSP sell? If it's more than 80M, then don't expect the 3DS to pass it.
What was the LTD for W101?
This is the biggest road block to me. The lack of inclusion of SD card readers is a no no. Hell! I would take a Pro Duo Reader in it!
