Releasing with the game on 3/6, 9334 yen (9800 tax-in).

Damn Miku GAF straight up ignored my post so anyway

-Any news on the US PDF vita release?
-Any word if the Japanese data upload for PDF is going away on vita? (Last trophy I need)
-Should I preorder 2nd? Even if it has a high chance of coming to the west on vita?

- Still Early 2014.
- No idea, sorry.
- Depends how badly you want to play it. I will be pre-ordering the vita version, will buy ps3 when it's released over here.

Ok cool thanks for the heads up.
Think I might do the same import vita version, buy US PS3 version, then grab the western vita release when its on sale later on.

so I'm working my way through the songs in project diva f and

hooooly shit i was not prepared for the PSO2 stage. That was pretty great.

Also the Dreamcast controller with the Seaman mic. So good.

I have to say, it was really nice of Hori to strip one of the four screws holding the touchpad in place on the DIVA F controller to all hell, to guarantee I can't ever remove it. Thanks for this!

Needle nose pliers and muscle

Not sure why I didn't think of that... took a bit, but I got the offending screw out that way without completely crushing it.

Just took a matching screw from the Otomedius stick I disassembled today to replace it since that one still had four good ones securing its touchpad.

Just a quick note from Weekly Diva Station that a few live demos are scheduled in Japan over the next month or so. Click through for details!

Participants will get this lanyard (who do I have to kill to get one of these?):

Three songs will be available to play on the Vita version of the game:

DECORATOR

Sukikirai

Lukaluka Nightfever

Bunch of new songs revealed this week. I think three of these haven't been in any Diva game so far.
Meteo
Hello, Worker
Soundless Voice
Tsugaikogarashi (番凩)
Miracle Paint

Let's wait until the game is actually released before we start asking questions like that.

Well i asked because i was confused by play-asia

Card and DLC pre-order bonuses will be included with all first-print editions
Dokodemo Laundry Bag will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis

Here

So i was wondering what was the dlc that was annonced that allowed play-asia to say that

on the bottom i read :
DLC: "Todoke, hibike Code"
but i'm quite confused

I have no idea what they could be referring to, and it wouldn't be the first time they get details completely wrong. Weekly Diva Station already posted a list of preorder bonuses, and as far as I can tell the only download is a PS3 premium theme for ordering the game at Family Mart (which like the module will be available for general sale in August).

Damn tempted, but I'd like to get the bigger controller. Any info on whether or not they're going to make another batch? I remember you mentioning that the new game has a double scratch system so i held off of getting one of the big controllers, have they announced whether or not these controllers are going to be compatible? Would really love to get one of the bigger controllers.

I haven't heard anything about a new controller, compatibility with the new game, or a reprint of either of the previous controllers. There's a chance that they hid some sort of proprietary API in the controller to allow for multitouch input (as I'm pretty sure the touchpad itself is capable of it) but that is a pretty expensive bet right now if you can even still find the controller anywhere.

Well I was thinking about purchasing it through a proxy through an auction, I notice they get put up there here and there. Hopefully we'll have more information soon (wouldn't mind a new batch of controllers).

Given the timetable they've previously followed for the large controllers, I would not assume a new one is coming. The F controllers were announced in late November 2012, took preorders through early December, and released with the game in March 2013.

The Todoke Hibike code is a PSN code that you can input to give you discount on buying the other version. Would hardly call that DLC though.

Is that so , thanks for the info ..
Lol play-asia ... they probably wrote this since it's a code but at least now i know.

Not confused anymore

Impressions as i watch the trailer.

Argh
Luka in "hello worker"

So good.

"world is mine" & "luka fever" seem quite alright.

What do people find in "packaged".?
This is one of the few miku songs i don't get the appeal ,

Oh the new "melt" version looks very cool.

ohhh

ohh

So far so good.

yep , asaide from "packaged" ( that i don't hate ) i love all the songs

reconfirming my preorder.
Game would have been even better with one more meiko song .

6 more songs to go

The code allows you to buy the digital version for 4762 yen instead of 6286 yen (prices excl. tax). Not a huge discount, really.

And I bet that once you factor in the godawful prices for Japanese PSN prepaid cards online, that rebate is probably cancelled out.

But still, I may look into this. Does the Vita version come with a code too, or just the PS3 version? If I can buy the Vita version at retail and then buy the PS3 digital version at rebate it may be the most economical solution.

Rounding up Weekly Diva Station for today. As usual, click through to the articles if you want to see full size images.

The aforementioned video: demonstrating 32 of the game's 40 songs.

Roundup of new content: let's review the new songs shown in the video, and a bunch of new modules.

I wish SEGA would hurry up and announce a date for the Vita version of Project Diva f here in the USA. I bought the PS3 version to support the localisation effort but my heart's always been with the touch screen Vita version.

Well, a friend of mine before said Mirai 1 looked a lot more natural, especially the hair animation. I didn't notice that until now. Mirai 2 was really a high production work. XD They look so stiff in f2. D:

You'd have to look to the arcade/Dreamy Theater games to get more realistic hair physics.

Famitsu spoke with Diva F 2nd's project lead, Hiroshi Utsumi. PS4 came up:

“There aren’t plans, but I think the PlayStation 4′s DualShock 4 touch pad could be interesting.”

“For the time being, whether or not we make a sequel is dependent upon sales of this project, Project Diva F 2nd,” Utsumi said. “But various preparations are underway, and we’re also putting PS4 in our outlook. It also depends on the differences between the three platforms—PS3, PS4 and PS Vita. We need to consider different things also, should we port this title or not? Or should we also make the next game in the series for PS4 or not? When development settles down, we’ll start from there. Anyway, I saw PS4 at the Taipei Game Show yesterday, even though it’s still not being sold in Japan yet… (laughs). I think it’s a very fine piece of hardware, and it really motivated me.”
