They just weren't expecting such load, I guess.
It's Pokemon. How can they not expect load?

It's actually quite easy if you know what you're doing. I suggest looking up an online guide somewhere, because there's some stuff you'll NEVER figure out on your own, I guarantee it.
So everyone is writing scathing shit about VC in Club Nintendo surveys, right? Every little bit helps, though at this point I think it's obvious Nintendo does not give two shits about what the customer wants.

I filled out about 40 things recently and made sure to point out that I wish there were more available, and that I can't buy what isn't there. But I wasn't shitty about it. Honey and vinegar, saying goes.

I never even heard of this game, they better not just release this with no Mario 3 or LttP
Can you give some examples (in spoiler tags of course) of stuff that one will never figure out on their own? I'm curious as to what they might be.
Nintendo please go third party so someone that gives a fuck can release these games for you.
At this point, why even bother buying a single virtual console game on the Wii U?

I don't think third parties were biting on releasing their old N64 and GBA titles which may explain why those consoles still aren't available.
Three VC-ready consoles in seven years and Nintendo still doesn't know how to get the word out about this service.
To... play them? I don't know if I understand the question?
Mighty Bomb Jack is legit. Worth checking out if you've never played it.
It's no SMB3 or LTTP, though.
It's a Hiccup post.
The Legend of the Mystical Ninja looked wonderful on the SNES.
I remember when I played a GameBoy version and it was pretty meh for me.
The Game Boy game is an entirely different game that came out many many many years later.
I usually give brief responses as I don't devote much time to surveys anymore. "Abysmal", "total joke", "bafflingly lazy" are some of my go-tos.
And it's ALWAYS set to "extremely dissatisfied".
On those surveys I also put that VC games that have multi player should also have net play. Maybe it falls on death ears but at least I have somewhere of an outlet to write these things. As much as I want to, I'm not sure how to approach NOA without acting like a little boy in regards to VC. =p
This is, of course, subjective, but I do believe the argument has some merit. Old, simplistic NES games would be much better received if released on pairs or trios, I bet.
It's disappointing that people seem to be skipping over so many fun games because "Well, it's not SMB3 or LTTP."
Has Nintendo ever explained why the Wii U VC library is crap compared to the Wii's? It's like there's absolutely no motivation on their part to dip into our past and give us the goods. At the rate we're going I think we'll be well beyond the second year and still only have a fraction of what the Wii had in its first year.
I say open the flood gates- get the N64 on there with all the good stuff and then get us the third party titles like San Francisco Rush, Resident Evil 2, Doom 64, Top Gear Rally, Xtreme-G, Turok 2, Bomberman 64 and so on. Even though I own all of those, I would buy them again to have easy access and a simple way to play them.
Yeah. If people are only going to buy the few absolute best games on each console, it's no wonder Nintendo doesn't release much.
Shouldn't the VC be a retro gaming paradise?
Personally, the disappointment is less "This isn't SMB3/ALTTP" or even "This game sucks", and more that, because we're suffering from a drip feed with VC releases, it's frustrating to see just one game releasing, and decent though it may be, not a classic to justify just that one game until next Thursday. Release Mighty Bomb Jack with 1 or 2 other games within its league, and everything would go dandy. They used to do this in the VC's early days, why did stop all of a sudden? If just one game is going to be released, at least make it a renowned classic that can carry the week on its own, like the weeks with Earthbound, Castlevania IV, Super Punch-Out!!, Megaman X2...

Some of those will never make it to VC. Say what you want about Acclaim and Midway, they had some very memorable games for the N64.I say open the flood gates- get the N64 on there with all the good stuff and then get us the third party titles like San Francisco Rush, Resident Evil 2, Doom 64, Top Gear Rally, Xtreme-G, Turok 2, Bomberman 64 and so on. Iwata said they want to improve the VC output

I just don't understand how games like Sonic or SMB3, etc. aren't out. This is preaching to the choir but those games would be good sellers, I imagine. Shouldn't those be the first games out?
