I'm doing some video work for a new business. They rent out exotic cars. I was doing some shooting today and when we were done my boss asked which car I wanted to try.

There was some sort of Lambo, an Audi R8, (I think?), another Audi, and this.

I know it's not as prestigious as a Lambo but I wanted to drive it.

Goddamn it was so easy to get to 120 MPH. Unbelieveable.

When i was a BYU I was a classical guitar performance major and as such had to have my nails on my left hand trimmed and the nails on the right a little long.

Well, the way it works is if any of the nails on your right hand other than your thumb or pinky break you have to clip them all down otherwise your playing will be uneven.

But that rule doesn't affect your thumb, so I'd leave it long. More than once I was stopped by students and professors because they thought having one long nail on a hand was a sign you were into cocaine. Once they even took to me to the honor's code office and only let me go after I had them call my guitar professor to verify. Inside though I was like ('it's the pinky not the thumb you idiot!')

When I get involved in trying to learn my violin (which is at least once a month) I have trim all my nails and it annoys me to NO END. I like having claws, thank you. My keyboards all have fingernail grooves in them.
 
I used to bite my nails down to the hyponychium, but now I just let them grow until they break or are completely unmanageable. I don't understand how most people maintain short nails, do they trim them every week or something?

I don't cut mine but i am responsible for cutting my son's. Yea you have to cut them like, every week. It's so annoying.

I played piano for 11 years so I'm used to having my nails trimmed short. It still feels wierd having them grow out.

In other news I just finished the Lazy Susan and managed to slice my finger open in the process. Yaaaaay

Com Truise is playing here in February. I'm gonna transcend humanity and become a keytar soaring through space, eventually landing at a planet that is a cross between Tron and the 1980's. Lots of pink lightning bolts, for sure.

Back when I was in school someone pointed out I was wearing a girl watch, and when they asked the teacher she said "yep, that's a girl's watch". As if I needed any more attention on my hands :(

Was feeling a bit ill this week so I cancelled my weekend plans in Vegas. Started taking some Zicam, actually feeling a bit better. Looked up the rates and they have actually dropped in price from the reservation I had cancelled.


Hmmmm....
 
I had no idea Kristen Bell was in Frozen. I mean, I was going to watch it eventually, but now I need to watch it right meow.
