Just decided to do a google trends search.

lol

Can I reach 1000 posts by thread's end?

Gotta maintain like 25 posts per day or higher.

There's between 5 and 6 days remaining depending on timezone. You can see the current wall of shame by clicking on the post count when you see the thread on the topic list. 150 / 6 = 25.

Why did everyone have so much trouble with the MAKO?

Point the camera where you want to go, push forward. That's it. It was an unusual control scheme sure, but it wasn't fiddly or awkward.

The segments were drawn out, unnecessary, and boring. Then, if course, there are the awkward and poorly executed controls.

Most of the objectives on UNC planets involved scaling 70 degree cliff faces. It was really hard to tell whether something was too steep or climbable, and a lot of the time you'd get 3/4 up to your objective then it would angle up 1 degree further and you couldn't get to the top. Have to go back, drive for 5 mins around the corner and go up some alternate path. The combat in the Mako wasn't remotely fun and the controls were pretty crappy. From memory it has that irritating Halo control scheme where if you turn the camera the vehicle starts steering that direction. You could get caught on small obstacles and geometry in some levels too, even the mainline quest ones.

The MAKO sections were a little drawn out dragonz, and I know what you mean with the funky geometry Mutes.

I dunno, I had fun with it though. I know I'm in the minority!
