Egypt.

Or Japan.

Or Napoleon-France.

There's hints in the AC games.

Well yeah. If you look at the codex in AC4, there's a timeline that says the patrilineal line goes:

-Italian Renaissance
-Ottoman Empire
-American Revolution
-New England and the American Midwest

Of course they could always do the mother's side which has ancient Egypt and feudal Japan, but there's also a huge image of a cowboy assassin so there's that.

I just got a new haircut :D

Poor Third Crusades got left out. =(

Playing ACIV now, trying to get that 100% while I'm sitting pretty at 76%.

I don't think there should be another AC game ever again. Bloated, terrible story, mediocre gameplay, endless busywork to fluff it up to 20 hours.

I thought you were a cool mod. But now... it's like I'm looking at you for the very first time and I see the monster that you are.

You don't play AC for the story. I thought 4 was fun.

I do. ;_;

I'll admit, I HATE collectables in these games (or any Ubisoft game) but I enjoy the characters and the overarching story.

Plus, the historical periods are the main draw for me.

Gotta see how dat Amurican Revolution was *really* like. Assassin's/Templars and all.

Hey, you're not the only one!

What games do you guys play for story?

HE'S GOT A WIFE AND KID PAU

A WIFE AND KID
A wife with a heart of gold too!

Rdr had potential but it had serious story issues.

"I have to do this to atone for the men I've killed!"

(goes into a mine and kills dozens of miners)

"I used to be a bad man"
Yup, this. By the time I got to Mexico, I wanted someone to just kill him during one of the dumb ass cutscenes where he just murdered some dudes for no reason except they didn't kiss his ass.

Paper Mario.

Anything from Rockstar. Halo for both, though.

Binary Domain.

Come at me.

Imma let this slide only because it seems I'm in no position to talk about good game stories.

Wait, which part?

Wait, which part?
It wasn't a big scene or anything. I just remember him walking into a town and killing some random guys who were rightly wondering what some dude was doing acting like he owned the place. I particularly didn't like that the game took control away from me in such scenes since I had been playing trying to minimize my body count.

This scene right?

Those guys were...unpleasant... and I deal with people like that on a daily basis.

Was that right? Nope. But I don't blame him, either.

You played AC4?

I started with AC2 which people said was the best in the series (back then) and got to the point where you start building up your own town and they were telling me about how I could invest in my town to make it grow how I wanted and I got all excited and then stopped a second and thought, "If I'm playing a game about being a bad-ass parkour assassin and the most exciting thing in the game to me is investing in city building? It ain't for me."

Personally I don't think they made the assassin part as exciting as it should've been.

That's a shame, guess it's not for everyone.

So the internet people came out to fix my internet connection today. Its been lagging like crazy. Spent all day and now I have zero internet.

The fuck.

I guess I can throw out that all the mods had good tastes in games and women out the window.

(This was a personal theory that had no merit to begin with)

BibleThump spare me

Blah, might as well join in with my fat cheeks for the last few days. D:

You're silly, welcome aboard!

I don't watch a lot of hockey, but why are they playing outside in California again?

That game they played in Michigan was amazing looking though.

Because they want to make hockey more popular in California and thought this was a good idea.

Better late than never.
Also, cute.
Thanks! :D

... fat cheeks?
Um, what.
I don't like smiling in pictures because I feel that I have overly puffy cheeks. Just a personal thing I guess.

This thread reminded me that I should try the newest AC at some point. I stopped after AC2.
I'm bad at jumping into threads and merging into the conversations.

Thanks! :D

Yeah.. no... I don't see it. :D

Also all AC games are the same, which is why I can't play them without taking breaks inbetween them. I still need to finish AC4... I skipped Brotherhood&3 though.

Trying to expose the game more and California makes sense. Hockey is getting more and more popular here.

But the grass looks so weird.

Besides if the L.A. Kings winning a Stanley Cup doesn't bring popularity to California I am not entirely sure this will. But again I don't watch a lot of hockey and not in tune with the trends.

I can be as well, lol, I just either go with the flow or talk about something completely random.
