I lurk every once in a while to get updated on what's going on. :D Hard to keep up without cable in the states.

Thank me later. It's been the best thing many of us in NHL-GAF have ever stumbled upon.

It's basically... 110.- for an entire year of ALL games (no blackout restrictions) for NHL, AHL and some junior leagues (like OHL, etc). Also Olympics, Draft and trade deadline coverage.

All in 60fps and HD. And on mobile devices.

It's based in the Netherlands and been up and running for like 6 years now, so it's solid.

Having worked in sales and now customer service... I still say opening is the best ~_~ The only thing that sucked about opening when I used to be in sales was finding a bunch of shit that the closing person left behind for me to do that they should have done >:(
 
Opening shifts > Closing shifts.

It is known.

People that go out in the morning are MUCH more chill than people that go out later during the day, for some reason. At least where I worked at in customer service. :lol

I've realized that, too.

Unless you work in a coffee shop, or a place where you serve coffee, then that's a different story.

Lol! The pain of that last sentence rings so close to home, in both respects of being the person to have to deal with said shit and the person leaving behind...said shit. XD

And idk, there's just something super lonely about opening the store for me. We open solo, and everything is off and its dark. D; Depressing to the max.

Well yeah obviously, but that's a very morning-specific industry. That doesn't count. :P

I worked in sports, so people that come in the morning are usually the dedicated people that know the place/regulars that know us and treat us nicely. Afternoon were the after-work people and tourists and first-timers that were just a pain in the ass.

AND OH GOD THE SCHOOL GROUPS. OH GOD.

Don't think of it like that! Think of it as peace and quiet, time for yourself until more people start arriving.

Funny enough, I've never had an issue with school groups. Don't think I've had a job where most kids would stop by after class.

We did, however, get massacred by old people all Sunday.

They're "closed for public registration" right now, but apparently you just sign up and then get an invite a couple days later. So it's not like it's really closed.

And yes it's been amazing. Gonna be even better during the Olympics. I can watch games on my iPad in class. And no stupid Gamecenter live blackout restrictions. And full game replays are up like 15mins after the game ends.

Not to blow your mind or anything, but the part I like the most about working retail....is helping people. I rareeeeeeely get "assholes" so, I enjoy providing good customer service. Being extremely knowledgeable about the material at hand(THANKS GAMING SIDE!) is a huge cherry on top.

With that said, that is a valid point. It's a better way to look at it. :P

Since I worked in sports, we had elementary and high school groups on a regular basis.

They were the WORST. There's nothing like 5th graders being unable to tie their goddamn shoes.

Customers were never really my problem either. It was management.

Ha. I guess I'm just tired of the repetitiveness of retail/customer service. :P

But I'm quickly remedying that problem.

I've always had it the opposite. I like my managers from all the jobs I've had.
 
Watched American Psycho tonight with a bud. Didn't remember much of it apart from a couple of the famous scenes so it was nice to experience again. Willem Dafoe has such a creepy face it gets me every time.

Can't find my originals at the moment so only these low res versions of SF I took years ago.
