Last gen I was a 360 guy. I played Call of Duty religiously at the peak of CoD 4's popularity.
As the series progressed I soon noticed that Battlefield was beginning to become very popular. I had never played a Battlefield game before though.
Until the PS4 dropped.
I decided that CoD had gotten very stale, so I gave BF4 a shot.
I love the concept and I love the destructibility. The overall scale of the game is amazing.
You can snipe from the craziest vantage points. Trying to spot out a sniper from 100s of meters away is always fun for me.
But there is just so much that is wrong.
I think that the biggest problem (for me at least) is the hit detection. I'll be firing directly at an opponent with an assault rifle, about 10 meters away, before he even has a chance stop sprinting. But they don't die. I die.
I think maybe it's the lag? Maybe I saw it out incorrectly. Was I truly aiming at him?
So I hit the share button to see what I did wrong.
NOTHING. I did nothing wrong. All bullets hit him (maybe half a clip) but only 2 gain me a hit marker.
Along with frame rate drops, server kicks, one shot kills with assault rifles (no headshot), crazy lags during levolution, etc.
Since I never played BF3 I just wanted to know if the problems were just as bad.
This game is unplayable sometimes.
