Everyone has different tastes. I can see why someone would not care about the show.I hate to be that guy but from the two and a half episodes of Rick & Morty I've seen I just don't see the hype/love. I guess I have to watch more to get it?

You think Dan Harmon would stoop that low? For shame.I expected Rick and Morty to have a lot more toilet humor, I suppose based off some previews and the fact it's an Adult Swim show. The one episode I watched wasn't such at all, which was nice. I might make time for more episodes.
I got it after one *shrugs*
which ones were they?
The pilot, the one where they go into a Math teacher's dream while dogs take over humanity and then half of one where they're inside some homeless dude till I changed the channel cause something else I was interested was on. The first episode was AWFUL. The second episode was definitely better but I wouldn't call it something that actively encouraged any positive feelings in me. Maybe it improves A LOT later? I could force myself to watch more I guess *shrug*
I imagine if you didn't like the pilot you probably won't like the rest of the series
How bad was the Superbowl? Not even a whole bunch of Pizza and brownies could save it. And I got in a twitter fight with Bass over the Bruno Mars halftime show (Which was shit, by the way).
i'd say watch the fourth and fifth episodes as those were my favorites by a long shot. though i liked the pilot so i dunno.
The House of Orochimaru was pretty funny if I remember right. Or maybe it was just me, but I remember enjoying it.

One of those was the Love Potion episode right? I just saw that. I thought the ending was a great twist and it's becoming clearer now why some of you guys were making comparisons between Rick & Morty and Space Dandy. However, holy shit was the whole "cronenburg" part of the episode disgusting. I seriously couldn't even stand to look at my TV screen. Some of the gross humor from earlier episodes was already bothering me but that was way over my personal limit. Sorry, that show isn't for me![]()
Jesus christ woke up to see massive amounts of fuck you snow, holy crap its coming down harder then bish in a controversial thread
I know what you mean. I just came in from shoveling and my work is already undone. This is going to be a big one.
My parents are like "don't worry we'll drive you to work" pfft okay I have half a shift today it's not even worth it

You guys are brave watching those Naruto fillers.
One Piece feels awkward to me at times too. Like, the conflict sometimes feels artificial or something, it's hard to explain. Also people yell too much. Anyways I think what it does better than the other two is balance in the cast. The main cast works off of each other much more effectively than the other shows, and I think having them stick together most of the time is actually beneficial to this effect. Each character certainly had their own motivations, traits, and quirks, but at least they all feel relevant and significant, and keeping them mostly present helps.
The differences between cable and network are huge as well. I am astonished with some of the shit Adventure Time gets away with.
Japan has some weird censors as well. Particularly the rule NOT THE FACE, NOT THE FACE!
I wonder if my tolerance of Bleach comes from the fact I marathoned it as opposed to reading/watching it weekly. I imagine had I gone at a much slower pace over the course of 2-3 years I'd have gone crazy and begun to be bitter the way a lot of people are.
Did anyone post the Dandy preview yet? I take back what I said about it looking promising, looks like a 'butts vs bobbies' episode *sigh*

I remember running into Gundam 00 on animonday.
Flipping through channels randomly and then
what the fuck I saw a gundam
Dun Dun Dun
Huh, I didn't know Sci-fi had anime before animonday.
My first exposure to anime was Vampire Hunter D, Project A-Ko, and Dominion Tank Police, all on Sci-Fi.
