Just let them be. People will get all the info they need on the game after it has been released. Most Metal Gear fans want this game to be great and want nothing more than to feel that they spent their money wisely... Is that too much to ask for? Personally, I never got the point in worrying about a game before it's released, considering all of the facts are generally available within minutes of release. That being said, there has been plenty of misinformation spread about this game, whether it be here or from Kojima's team, and it's easy to see how it can cause a panic.
As long as you continue posting with blatant fanboy-ism, people's cynicism will continue to exist. I'm not saying I don't blame you (to a certain extent). I'm as hardcore a MGS fan as there is, and even "yelled" at a mod (Sorry, EmCeeGramr, you're a nice dude!) in one of my first posts, because at the time I thought he was just shitting on the game just for the sake of shitting on the game, but in all honesty, he made very valid points -- just like a lot of people in this very thread are. (All I mean by this soliloquy is that if you want people to accept the information you are looking to share, then you should stop attacking others for not having the same appreciation of the series that you have.) You're going all-out to defend a game that a good chunk of the NeoGAF community wants to succeed.
